I had a favourable stay at the GoodHope Hotel Kelana Jaya branch last year but earlier this month I chose this branch (which is just about two minutes of walking distance away) instead and had another pleasant experience.
Just like the Kelana Jaya branch, everything in my room was in good working condition and all the personnel that I interacted with (manager, receptionists, cleaners) were polite and very accommodative.
In terms of value for money, GoodHope is holding the top spot in my books. It is now my first choice if I need to look for a budget hotel again in the future.

ok. good for a budget hotel. can request free parking (Goodhope Kelana Mall). Cleanliness so far ok. Just the room slightly small and should provide Coway/Cuckoo water filter. Safety also ok and area have lots of restaurants and shops. serviced by Yoga.

Slept there for 3 nights. The room was small and not sound proof, could hear people talking from the next door. At around 11pm, Came out and accidentally left the key card inside the room. Couldn't go in , so phoned the front desk. It took quite a long time for the receptionist ( male ) to answer. Waited and he never appeared. Walked down the staircase and saw him sleeping ,leaning on the desk. Have to wake him up to get another card to open my door. Then he continued sleeping.
Location is OK but no covered parking spaces. If it rains, you will have problem running to your car or whatever transportation . Other than these, it is still average considering the hotel rate of about RM 120/ day.
