Stayed here a few years ago and used again on this trip. I needed a trip accross to Indonesia (Medan) and also had meetings in KL. This was useful as you are in the airport and don’t need the journey into town after your flight . It’s well turned out, and has some good and reasonable eating drinking options . We stumbled in to Sama-Sama after midnight, and after trying unsuccessfully to sleep in the airport. The room was very clean, and the whole facility was tidy and peaceful when we were exhausted and grumpy. In all the excitement of getting to our connecting flight a few hours later, I left my new jacket in the closet! Well, after an email to Mohana on Reception, she contacted the service staff and my jacket was located safely. Sadly, I was already on the flight out of the country and could not return. Nurul from the hotel was kind enough to arrange for my jacket to be posted to my home country by tracked courier, and it arrived within a week. Thanks so much to all involved, Mohana and Nurul are superstars; and the establishment is blessed with great, helpful staff and luxurious amenities.…

I have stayed here many times over the past 20 years. Has always been a lovely hotel. Over my recent stays, sad to report thy the front desk staff are very rude and brash. Which is a shame, because the rest of the staff are so wonderful and helpful. Rooms are hit and miss. Sometimes you'll get a lovely room. Refurbished and really comfortable. Other times you may get an older room that smells, fridge out of service, TV out of That 70s Show, etc.. Don't bother complaining to front desk of you have any issues with your room. They'll just treat you like garbage and fail to be of any assistance whatsoever. Without any other choice re hotel close to KLIA terminal 1, we're stuck with the Sama Sama Hotel. Unfortunately.

Stayed here numerous times due to flight connections, which it’s very convenient for. Easy walk from the terminal or buggy if needed. However this is the most dated I have seen it. They will have to start upgrading the hotel - carpets in a very bad condition. From a condition point of view I will only give it 3-stars. From a convenience point of view I will give it 5-stars.

Have stayed at this hotel and was always knocked away by the standards and the service. However post covid things have changed, the welcome at reception was not warm, the room allocated was not clean. In fact I moved rooms after the first night. The food was sub par and potions a lot smaller than in previous visits On check out even though the room was pre paid they tried to charge me again, I was so disappointed I cancelled my next stay with the hotel Very disappointing

We have stayed here pretty much every time we come to Malaysia from around 2013–2020. This was our first return post-Covid and we were delighted to see the improvements made but consistency maintained. The hotel is SO convenient and luxurious and it does not feel like you’re in an airport. They always treat us like valued guests. This time we also used the Premier Lounge and had breakfast too and were shocked at the quality and selection. Such a great business. I wish they would branch out to other areas!

Stayed there only for one night but it was a very precious experience for me. First of all, good job for their front desk staff for fast & easy check in process, also for their courtesy and warm voices when I called them regarding where's the tv remote 😂 Plus, good job to their housekeeping staffs for making sure our room is freakingly clean! All the amenities were complete. The pillows & mattress was incredibly fluffy made us can't leave our bed. 10/10 stars were given for their breakfast buffet. There were a lot of choices. Luckily i'm on my diet 😝 I would definitely stay here again!!!

If you re going through KL international airport and don’t have to explore the city before your next flight and still need a nice place to rest and freshen up, Then this is most definitely the place for you. Everything a traveler might need for a brief stay in between flight and reasonably priced.

Great over night stay on way home to Australia from Maldives. Large family room and hotel had 5 star feel. Staff helpful and room service quick and good food. Highly recommend this hotel for people in transit.

Most airport hotels are clean and comfortable but no frills and pretty basic. Not this one. It is like a five star city hotel with all the trappings of a city venue, spacious dining areas overlooking gardens and fish ponds and the most beautiful swimming pool complete with waterfall and jacuzzi. The window frames in the rooms are wide with double or triple glazing, keeping out any noise. We had a view of the runway with planes taking off but couldn’t hear them. We found the restaurant menu a bit ‘opulent’ and didn't seem to make allowances for folk breezing in and out quickly and might just want a chicken caesar wrap or sandwich. There’s a buffet service as well, which we, personally, found a bit heavy for lunch with the outdoor temperature at 36 degrees, but no doubt would suit some. …
