The place needs a major refurbishment or revamp. still a good potential though. it is just that this is an old place which needs to be brought back to it's glory days. has full facilities for big groups, conventions, seminars, team building, corporate events, wedding ceremonies, spa and relaxation.

If you want to know how a hotel in Malaysia looked like in the 1970's then basically you have gone to the right place. We got the apartment with 3 bedrooms. Our first impression of the apartment was that it looked like the setting of a 1970's horror movie. Actually, the whole building had an eerie feeling about it. The very large living area was equipped with a sofa set gathering dust and a very ancient TV that barely got a few channels. The bedrooms were dank and the air-conditioning looked like it was going to give up any minute. The sink in the toilet was clogged and we can't use it. It was quite a scary experience I must say. The administration should really do something about the condition of the so called 'resort'.

I actually stayed here twice, both on business trips. The resort actually hosts several offices for University Teknologi MARA (UiTM) divisions and I think only 3 buildings are the 'hotel' part. My latest stay there was in a 4 bedroom apartment. Because it's an 'apartment' so necessary things were provided such as fridge, kettle, kitchen etc. but most stuff are worn and used. Toilets are in sad state although clean enough. The smart card sensor at the door were non-working during both of my stay here and therefore you use the old conventional keys to open doors. No problems with parking lots. I have to mention that their restaurant served tasty food and desserts. No WiFi available except at the lobby (which is far from your room anyway). Around the resort are only houses and you have to travel a bit by car to find shops or any interesting place. Verdict: Bad value for the price paid. Better find other places to stay.

Awful stay we had at INTEKMA Resort & Convention Centre. The maintenance was very poor. The service was terrible.
We had free breakfast for three when we stayed at 3 rooms apartment with 6 beds. I went to the counter and asked why we were given only 3 breakfast coupons. The staff on duty named Azlizan gave a short answer saying they gave it according to the total of the rooms, not beds.
I made my complaint and then asked where the cafe is, she just pointed her finger to nowhere and turned her back on me. That was so rude I had to ask them to show some manners to their guests. Then one guy came up and directed us to the cafe.
The facilities were outdated and the buildings looked creepy cause of the old designs. We had chills whenever we entered our kitchen at night.
They really should shut down this place. We will never ever go back there. Please find somewhere else to stay.

The worst place you can ever rent, awful odor, cockroaches and ants, the elevator off after your check in and they will chat outside your room and laugh at 12 a.m. so you can't sleep to cancel your booking and leave of course without your money.

I booked 1 of three room apartment and 1 of two room apartment few month in advance direct by call to intekma resort, i decide to booked two apartment because we come with big family. On the day we arrive to check-in they said the apartment is full, so they only have 1 of three room apartment and no two room apartment, instead they give me 2 standard room to us.
To make thing worst we get an apartment in block 4, which is dirty, smelly, looked old and scary. One of the air-condition is leaking and the sink in the kitchen is also leaking, call to send the maintenance up, but never show up.
anyway.. that is my last to stay with intekma, NEVER.. NEVER.. NEVER.. again..

The hotel is very very old, the room is smelly. Called to book 2 bedroom unit but when i arrived 2 minutes later they said its fully booked. Overall stay was terrible. The room is very far from the pictures in the website. Avoid this useless piece of sh#t

I stayed in a 3 bedrooms apartment in block 5. The lift was not working. When we entered the room the smell was unpleasant. Moldy.Sliding door to the balcony could not be locked. Bathroom was terrible. water tap broken. Toilet flush was not working. We had use the pail to flush manually. I will not stay there again.

The staff hospitality is good but the hotel needs refurbishment. Spacious room with sufficient amenities and quiet environment. Breakfast a bit disappointing where the refilling service quite slow. However, thanks to Mr. Saiful (the MOD) for his warm hospitality.
