Stayed at this newly open hotel during Hari Raya holiday. The hotel's room occupancy is low thus not many guests around.
Check in and check out is fast and smooth, and the compliment goes to the front office team on their politeness.
The hotel's location is not friendly to those traveler without private car, which is very far from the KL city center and some famous shopping mall like 1 Utama, Sunway Pyramid etc.
The suite upgrade and birthday decoration is much appreciated. Thanks to Desmond for the welcome fruit basket sent to the room after checked in.
The buffet breakfast have varieties, but I have to point out that the waffle is not good to eat as it has left too long in the container.
Another issue is the housekeeping didn't clean up the used plate during the daily housekeeping service.

I have been quite a regular Marriott Bonvoy Elite guest to Courtyard Setia Alam since their opening whenever I am around the area.
I personally can feel they have been improved a lot since my very first visit when they first opened the door as my profile has an extra shower towel and firm pillow in hand which they have fulfilled it prior to my arrival in the room.
Not only that, that the hotel manager aka Desmond Loke even prepared a long hand written welcome card as well as fruit basket in the room, honestly this small gesture and attention to detail really shows how much they care about your loyalty and definitely earned my trust in coming back more and more.
I was pre-upgraded to the corner room as I understand that the suite room is no longer available upon my arrival.
The only comment I have maybe related to the air-cond as it is now only able to go down to 20 Celcius rather than previously 16 C so during the day time it can be a little hot if you are staying in room.
Gracious for the warm hospitality and look forward to be back again!

Our family recently stayed at the Courtyard by Marriott Setia Alam for a Christmas staycation, and we were deeply impressed by the outstanding hospitality and service of the concierge team. A special mention goes to Manager Mirza and her team, whose efforts truly made our stay a memorable one.
From accommodating our request for rooms on the same floor to the warm, friendly smiles that greeted us at every turn, the team’s dedication to ensuring our comfort was evident. These thoughtful gestures warmed our hearts, especially during a difficult time for our family after a recent robbery in Klang left us in low spirits.

Was at this hotel for 1 night during first day of chinese new year and my review as follows:
1) Location It is located opposite Setia City Mall therefore staying here is very convenient. Plenty of food options in the mall.
2) Parking Parking is covered and safe. Parking bays are plenty during our stay and is quite spacious too. Parking is free for hotel guest.
3) Check In Check in was fast and pleasant. The staff attended to me was very friendly and welcoming. The hotel also offered a complimentary slice cake to celebrate my dad's birthday. Very nice gesture of the hotel.
4) Room 1607 & 1608 Room size is spacious. Room is modern, new and bright. Matress is quite luxury and comfortable. Pillows were great too. Bathroom size is good and spacious. Maybe the toiletries can be improved as the brand Nirvae is unknown to any of us.
5) Wifi Wifi is free and quite fast
6) Swimming Pool Pool size is ok for city hotel but swimming attire is not observed. We saw guest wearing t shirt, cotton shirt, long pants, jeans and track bottoms swimming in the pool as there is no one supervising the pool. Maybe the hotel can look into this.
7) Buffet Breakfast Breakfast spread is good and impressive for a 4 star hotel located out of KL. There are coffee machines, egg station, noodle station, roti canai station, impressive salad, fruits & cold cut fridge as well as dim sum and fresh fruit juice (freshly blended honeydew juice). Food that does not taste nice during breakfast is nasi lemak (the rice is not lemak at all and not fragrant). Sambal is also a let down. The pastry section is also kind of limited. Also, it is apparent that the restaurant is under staff, as the same chef that is doing roti canai has to run to the noodle section and top up food at the buffet. I believe this can also be improved on. Overall, i did enjoy the breakfast at this hotel.
8) Overall, this is a good hotel in Setia Alam. Highly recommended.

When I first arrived, I was greeted warmly by FO staff (Yuharaj). Felt warm and welcomed as he helped with the check in process. They are very accommodating when asked if early check in is available. Room was okay, neat but cleanliness can be better improve as there's dust on the counter top of coffee/tea set and what looks like a vermicelli crumb on the floor. Other than that, the room was superb and everything is working well. We were given a room where the view of the mountain and the park was amazing. Easily accessible to the mall and parking was easy to go around but somewhat limited. Breakfast at 5Wells Restaurant was great, plenty of variety. However, staff friendliness must be looked into. Throughout breakfast, I was only greeted by 1 staff (Amar) at the hostess counter and someone whom I assume to be the manager on duty when I was leaving. The rest of them either just walk passed to grab the used plate or simply just walk passed you. Don't feel the warmth and hospitality unlike my previous experience with some other hotel groups. Afterall, I was on a business trip therefore I did not get to explore the amenities provided. Overall good stay with some room for improvement.

Recent trip to Malaysia for CNY with family. As most family live in Klang it was good to stay local. Hotel is relatively new, very good, clean and good value. Not normally one to bother with negatives and i post this in the hope that the hotel reads this and tries to do better. Room 1405. Sink is not properly attached to vanity and slides in and out. Could be a disaster waiting to hurt someone. Pool area is good but no shade umbrellas on first day. Second day 2 Umbrellas. Many other swimmers with their children could not use or access any shade. When further shade was requested the hotels maintenance people said there were no more umbrellas. See hotel website image. They need to do much better and care for clients who use the pool and need shade. Pillow option poor. TV channel option small.

Had my company buka puasa buffer dinner at 5 Wells Restaurant in Marriott Courtyard Setia Alam and was very disappointed.The arrangement was terrible, I was supposed to have two tables in the room but was arranged to be sitted at the open area. Excuses given is the venue is fully booked which is very unreasonable. Service is bad and foods choices are poor and under expectations. Definitely will not come again. Hope Marriott Management will look into your poor services at Marriott Courtyard Setia Alam. Totally not up to standard Marriott Service! Not Recommended to dine in here.

My family and I stayed for 1 night here and we were privileged to stay in the executive suite. The room is very spacious, the living area is occupied with a large screen TV, wardrobe is just next to the shower area, making it very convenient. All in all, it was a very comfortable stay for us and our kids.
Breakfast was not bad, choices are ample and suitable for kids as well. But some foods needs to be improved such as the chicken tandoori and fried mihun, taste and texture wise is off. Love the yong tau hu and dimsum though, nice option for those who doesn't like too heavy breakfast.
Although it is a newly opened hotel, the hotel staff are all very prepared, services are great and we felt very welcomed there. Would love to come back here for a staycation.

A wonderful and memorable stay. Service was excellent, hotel location is strategic and directly connected to a nice and very big mall (Setia Alam mall), Assistant Manager Mr Joseph gave us a very nice welcome, he was always available attending to guest needs, well done.
