I had 3 times stay in this hotel. I like this hotel because can see the golf course from my room. It so calm and nice to see. I like the breakfast and the room is very big. Every time i came here i book around 4-5 room for my family. I also got the discount from the hotel.

Charming room and beautiful resort landscape. Beautiful view. The resort is very well maintained although aged. Bed and pillows are a dream to sleep on. Fairly extensive breakfast buffet spread and amazing staffs. A huge shout out to Faridah, Shiva, Shahril and Kesavan in safeguarding my kindle as I left it in the room after checking out. Thank you all for your efficiency, it was really impressive and I can’t thank you enough. It was hassle-free process done professionally.

The first impression when I got into the room, I felt stressed. It was a gloomy and worn-out room. The room view is blocked by half of the rooftop. This is the first time ever I went to request to change the room. We manage to get the staff to change the room to the opposite one facing the golf course. It is still the same design but it feels really different. I booked the Deluxe King Room, it has a bathtub which is not shown in the details. The water pipe was leaking but I'm really lazy to report it. There is a Japanese restaurant just beside the hotel building but too bad they closed for the holiday. They really need to do some refurbishment.

Arriving for a seminar to this old hotel. no much special on star rating to glenmarie Golf Resort Shah Alam. F & b Service is so so. Only staff name fieda is respectable person. Most service staff there is foreigner. Their are located at function room. No housekeeping to cleaning up room.until we are back from function in the evening. No towels change. I ve to call for towels change. Towel is old and have hole kind of rotten towels just need throwing away. Rooms with carpet is smells.my room using vinyl floor. My colleagues room is carpeted. Good thing to compliment is bedding is comfortable and soft menu pillow is serve during stay. Receptionist to place fresh face not foreigner. Looking at counter was so dull. Staff fo is telling they are shorten or staff. Only 1 staff at counter during my checkout day. Overall only food is good to compliment. Suggestions: To place 1 hostess or PR at lobby to welcome or any of fo staff to assist during arrival. To serve welcome drink during arrival. The hotel is located in one of the industrial zone in Shah Alam. Ample and free parking space. The hotel lobby is nice but no welcome drink. The rooms is a bit humid and smells wet. The swimming pool and garden is nice. Thers’s a kid pool and adult pool. The coffee house is clean and the breakfast buffet has lots of choices of foods.

There was a dead cockroach in the bathroom the moment I checked in. Room had musty smell. The rooms are old and needs refurbishing. Poor Covid SOP followed by hotel. You just walk in the hotel and scan your my Sejahtera only. Even if you don't scan nobody checks. Nobody checks whether you're double vaccinated or not.

We had a staycation at Glenmarie Hotel & Golf Resort. Guests are required to show their vaccination status, to scan MySejahtera QR code and to have a body temperature scan before proceeding to the check-in counter. The check-in and check-out processes were smooth. No room deposit was needed during our stay. We took the City Escape package inclusive of one night stay, breakfast, 35% off on F & B hotel outlets (excluding alcoholic beverages) and complimentary parking. We stayed in a deluxe king room on 5th floor. The air-conditioned room was spacious. The king bed was comfortable to sleep on. We were provided with four pillows (two soft and two firm). There is a working desk with chair, and armchair sofa with a small coffee table. Room amenities included two complimentary bottled water, tea/coffee-making facility, telephone, wardrobe, iron and ironing board, safe box, and a television with local and international channels. There is a body-length mirror in the deluxe room. A waist-length mirror can be found in the ensuite bathroom. The ensuite bathroom has a washing basin, hair dryer, body towel, hand towel, floor mat, toilet, standing and rainforest shower. Toiletries such as body bar, shampoo, conditioner, hand & body wash, body lotion, vanity kit, shower cap, sanitary bag, toilet paper, and tissue paper are provided. Tooth brush, cotton wool, comb, shaving cream, disposable razor and female sanitary products are provided upon request and are to be collected at the reception counter. We had dinner in the Fu Rin Japanese Restaurant. The food was well-presented, tasty and the portion was satisfactory. We enjoyed the delicious matcha ice cream too. We had breakfast (buffet style) in the Kites Restaurant. The food variety was acceptable, fried noodle, nasi lemak, roti canai, chicken porridge with condiments, salads, croissants, Danish pastry, white bread, butter and jam, cereals, milk, fruit juices, teh tarik (pulled milk tea), yogurt, fresh fruits, egg station, chicken sausages, baked beans, roasted potatoes, and grilled tomatoes. There were three different dine-in breakfast session to reduce the crowd. We chose the earliest session (6.30 AM to 8.30 AM). Despite of that, many guests came during this session too. The tables were rather close to each other in the Kites restaurant. There is a swimming pool in the hotel. No prior reservation is required. No restriction on the number of guests to be in the pool. Some guests were not in proper swimming attire. Overall, we had a relaxing stay in Glenmarie Hotel & Golf Resort. The staffs working in the Fu Rin Japanese Restaurant and the Kites Restaurant were friendly and helpful. The female cleaning lady (in the lobby) was dedicated in conducting her duties. Hopefully the Management Team to continue in improving the hotel guest experience, especially during this Covid19 pandemic.…

1. We booked an executive suite and were told that we cannot have lounge access. First the manager told us that the executive suite does not have lounge access and when I showed the hotel website, the manager stated that lounge access for executive suite is only allowed if booked through Hotel website and not through Agoda website. 2. Other than Japanese restaurant, the other restaurants are still closed due to pandemic. But there was no information shared beforehand either on their website or through the confirmation mail 3. We called reception at night to request for water and were told that they do not have water. During our dinner we requested water and were given couple of bottles. But when we asked later in the night we were told that no more water can be given. We were willing to pay for additional water but were informed that additional bottled have already been supplied and we cannot be supplied any more. We need to wait till morning. After requesting multiple times, we were given 3 bottles of water. The rooms are OK but the service level needs a big improvement.…
