Good place to spend a peaceful holiday with great services. The staff was super helpful to parents. There is 24/7 room service and the food is prepared less than 20 minutes. It was super impressing when we ordered around 2am.

Overall experience is OK except for the fact that the lift (in block 3) is out of service and we need to use the stairs. Not able to use lift at block 2 because the access to block 2 from 2nd floor is flooded due to heavy raining on Satuday (evening). The bath tub was not sparkling clean. It looks clean from my raw view but once it was filled with water, we can see dust floating. Dust can also be found in the room, near the bedside table & lamp. There was a tree falling during the heavy rain (saturday evening) at the pool and the management take some time to take care of it. Shd handle the issue before people start going inside the pool, instead of around 10am on Sunday. But, I love the resort concept of the hotel. A good staycation not far from home. Might consider to come again soon as we love the pool ambience.

The hotel was undergoing renovation works and several types of rooms were not available. We were a party of 6 (3 adults and 3 children). So, we had to be separated into two Executive Deluxe Rooms in order to fit everyone comfortably. We were looking for a quiet weekend before Ramadhan, but surprisingly, there were a lot of guests and the weddings did not help either.
The hotel is beautifully surrounded by lots of trees and the lake makes the view more incredible. The swimming pool was just OK, but they ran out of towels pretty quickly. After an hour of waiting for the towels to be replenished (while we were in the pool), we ended up walking back to our rooms soaking wet because there was no one around to help us out, to even ask if we needed any help.
The rooms are newly renovated (I think). They are clean, but rather small. Beds are comfortable and clean, but could use new pillows altogether. The bathrooms are well lit with a big bathtub. I didn't enjoy the shower at all as the water struggles to maintain its temperature. I had to constantly tamper with the shower tap while showering.
Our rooms were located farthest from the lobby and restaurants, but that didn't bother us. The bell service was terribly slow, but given the current situation, I guess that's understood.
Overall, the stay was quite pleasant. The staff was friendly and helpful. I was, however expecting more from the price I paid for the Executive Deluxe Rooms.

Visited my extended family and had a 4 night stay at this property and was compelled to choose this because of location.
The room I booked is a higher category executive deluxe and the key difference is larger size and include a fridge and a bathtub. The room is showing its age with wear and tear and rather dark, with lack of natural light. Lighting in the rom was inadequate. Internet was slow and I have to use my 4G connection most time to get decent speed. Shower and bed was fine. Connectivity was decent and I was able to connect my AppleTV to the TV without issue. My in-room safe was not working but they did managed to fix the issue.
The onsite restaurant served morning breakfast which is the usual stuff. The surrounding areas has lush greenery. There’s also a more exclusive club residence for hotel guests who are willing to pay more, but I did not check out. I supposed the rooms there are better.
Service was very lacking. Calls to the service centre “Instant Service” is anything but instant, with most calls left unanswered. In the reception hall, there is often only one staff on duty. Check-in was very very slow with the staff appeared to be inexperienced and easily confused. It appears the property was understaffed.
The property is rather isolated so it’s good that they have a fine selection of onsite restaurants including Chinese and Japanese. Tried the Japanese restaurant and the food was great, with reasonable price.
In conclusion, the rates were reasonable for the room quality but just don’t expect much in terms of service. The photos on the website is representative of the actual room with some wear and tear. Unless one need to be around Subang area, there is not much reason to stay in this property rather than a true 4/5-star hotel in city centre that one can get for about the same price.

overall the resort is nice. landscaping is well maintained, rooms seemed to be refurbished.
the carpet and pillows were extremely dusty, and caused my wife to have an asthma attack, of which we had to rush to the nearby hospital as her airways all closed up.
the main thing that upset me was that they were only wiling to provide 2 extra bottles of mineral water for the room, and every extra bottle was charged at RM5 per bottle! that's daylight robbery!
i had to speak to multiple managers before i reached the Executive Asst Manager Kugan. To me, this policy should never have been in place as water is the most basic necessity.
and for a 5-star hotel to charge customers for extra bottles of water is extremely unbecoming and almost CHEAP.
we consumers should NOT accept policies like this.

We celebrated our son's birthday in Charcoal and stayed in Saujana for 2 nights. All family and friends were invited and Mr Mahes and team (Ragesh and the gang!) had been looking after us from my first phone call up to the end of our stay.
All of our guest were fully taken care off and i myself as a host has been look after by Ragesh where he ensure i have food and drinks standby for myself as i was busy hosting my own guests! It was an amazing service overall and they have been doing the extra miles to ensure all goes prefect for us. We had a great time and received many good feedback from our own party guests. We will definately come back to Saujana KL. Thank you Mahes and Charcoal team!! Amazing job you guys!!

I hate to leave an average review for such a nice hotel with very hard working and welcoming staff but there was just a couple of frustrating things that tarnished our stay. My wife and I stayed here for 4 nights in late January early February this year. We had booked a club room so duels checked in at the club reception. Our room was 304, a very spacious room with lounge area and separate bedroom with en-suite. A very nice room until you get in the bath and notice the cracks and mould around the bath rim; not a pleasant sight. The bed was very comfortable. The club room provided evening drinks and small snacks which were very tasty and the wine and beer was enjoyable. All part of the club room package. Breakfast was served in the restaurant adjacent to the club room and was more than adequate and fresh every day. The pool area was a delight and used daily by wife, who reported it to be quiet and most of all clean. The second gripe we had here at the Suajana was the daily room service and clean; one day they didn’t arrive, another day they didn’t leave clean towels. In a four day stay that’s 50% fail. Things just need a little more attention to detail in order to make this great again.

Overall experience was good. I like how peaceful the place is with a nice lake and pool view. The hotel is also surrounded by trees and maybe some monkeys? Haha. I encountered a monkey by the window but seems pretty harmless. Breakfast was also good - not a buffet but there were three sets to choose from (Saujana, Malaysian and Healthy set). The room was very clean, got basic toiletry stuff and coffee/tea. All the staff were friendly and accomodating. It's good that they are able to maintain the place even during this pandemic. I was really able to relax during my stay. Also, the hotel is just about 45 mins away from the city center so it was quite easy to go there.

1. When checking in, took couple of hours just to get our bags to be sent over to our room after many times calling and after personally walk over to the reception
2. Nobody was manning the swimming pool towel island. needed to ask help from house keeping staff just to get the towel for swimming pool. No life guard.
3. Paid RM27.85 for crappy ice latte (in room dining). Even mamak stall coffee tasted better.
4. Gym was small, no towel provided for gym, not even water dispenser or bottled water.
5. Hotel layout is bad. Need to walk very far go get to the room.
6. Swimming pool really needs to be cleaned, swimming pool bridge needs urgent repair. Looks like its going to collapse anytime.
7. Booked for father’s day celebration. Eventually outside restaurant provides million times better service then this hotel.
8. We booked 2 rooms next to each other. One had coffee machine but the other one had no coffe machine. But same price paid.
9. Very difficult for us to get leave from work & spend quality time with family. Ended up ruining our holiday instead

I don't think there is any other alternative except taking a taxi, as the hotel is not near to the KLIA Express or bus service.
As mentioned by others, it takes about 40-60 minutes from KLIA. At the arrival hall it is best to book the taxi at the KLIA Limo booth and pay the taxi fare based on the type of vehicle (budget or premier) and destination. In this way you are not at the mercy of ticket touts or unscrupulous taxi drivers who run by meters which might have been tampered with.
There are more places to choose from in the Shah Alam area.
