My 2nd time Staying in Geno Hotel last week, i just love the environment here. The hotel very cozy and peace. At this time, staff allocated me in highest floor so that i have a good view from my room. Room was ok only, maybe the hotel need to fix the plug as some is loose. My room come with dining. Having breakfast and dinner in this hotel. A lot of improvement compare to last time. Buffet line more neat and clean. Breakfast with rendang ayam that's the best! How i miss my mum cook in hometown. Variety delicious food to eat there. Will stay again definitely

We have booked several rooms to stay for three days last weekend. The rooms were not clean and there were holes in the bedsheets and pillow cases. The carpets were stained. Toilets were not cleaned properly. Service from housekeeper was terrible. Looks like there is only one housekeeper, he didn’t wear a mask and gloves. Sanitation is truly not done. After handling the trash he touched the clean towels. He balanced some clean towels on his shoulders! SOP for Covid were not followed, guests were not masked especially while in the lift. I had to wait for half an hour for an empty lift to get to the breakfast hall because my mum is not vaccinated. Location of this hotel is in an industrial area and eateries are none.
One of the most horrible and surprising 4-star rated hotel. Upon check in, staff was not professional in handling customers. Food: Food provided was at world class disaster. Breakfast they served me twice Porridge. That two days of porridge was probably my worse nightmare. They actually serve me PLAIN, I repeat; PLAIN porridge with NO SEASONING, NO Side Dishes, 2 slice of Yau Char Kuey, NO SALT, NO CHICKEN STOCK, NO SOYA SAUCE, NO PEPPER to go along. My 2nd Porridge for breakfast was no difference drinking water & swallowing plain rice. This time I was served FISH PORRIDGE, again NO SEASONING, NO Side Dishes, , NO SALT, NO CHICKEN STOCK, NO SOYA SAUCE, NO PEPPER. Lunch- I was then served butter chicken, or rather I would Name it SALTED CHICKEN. All my meals that comes with "White rice" is never cooked. If this hotel require someone to teach them how to cook simple WHITE RICE, please let me know. I will teach for FREE. Your Rice served is DRY, undercook and at the lowest quality available in the market. The Chef really deserve a standing ovation for the unbelievable talent working in a FOUR-STAR hotel. ROOM. The moment I check in, upon washing my hands, I am welcomed with a leaking sink. Putting my head below the sink was a shock of my life to find the sink outlet pipe was simply tape with black masking tape. Bath Towel. I was given a BURNT bath towel. Having to solve it, I requested for another bath towel. To my surprise, the staff took almost 24 hours to send me a bath towel but that is not the highlight. The "NEW" bath towel has a huge LOGO in it stated "LEXIS". Geno Hotel has no budget in getting their own bath towel? not only that, the bath towel is torn up on the sides. Service Staying in this 4-star hotel makes no difference from staying in a budget MOTEL. You get service screw BANGING your doors upon delivery of Breakfast / LUNCH / Dinner. Not once but upto 3 times. FYI, the doorbell is working perfectly but the staff decides to bang the door instead. Apart from that, having items such as food delivered to your room will always be the LAST priority. As they were told, we have ordered food from outside and that would be the guest's dinner delivered to the hotel doorstep at 6 pm, the staff would only deliver upto your room by 9 pm. And yeah, don't Bother calling reception after 4 pm, No one bother to answer. Will I ever return to this hotel? Looks like the hotel's GM wouldn't either.…
Stayed at this nice large hotel for a business function: rooms are neat and clean with really nice views of Subang, check in and check out was fast and effortless. Hotel is located in the outer suburbs but still very accessible and a convenient drive to the airport and short distance to Tropicana golf course or the city center. Nicely equipped fitness facilities, swimming pool, nice breakfast selections, fast Wifi and the ballroom plus attentive service and catering to mention especially. Overall, great stay and great value.
been a frequent visitor to this hotel, breakfast was a good spread and always feel welcome, Kudos to the managers that train all their staffs, as a hotelier myself, I'm pleased to recommend GENO to all those planning to visit Shah Alam.
This is my first time to Geno Hotel. I am impressed with the grand ballroom and digital screen. The sales manager and staffs provide excellent service . Is Tengku recommend this hotel for event and stay
