Service to be improve. I had come early before the check in time. And i just want to know how long i need to wait for my room and the reception just telling me “so many room also not ready” because we are so tired after long journey. Room we get are good but there was rubbish left behind by previous stay not clear when cleaning. And there are double check in into my room. After i get the room around 30 mins after that another guest try to open my room luckily i had double lock the door. How is this happen? And hotel staff come to my room said to open my door that i never request for it. I had waited so long for the room and after i get my time to rest this happen to my room. Breakfast not so really much. Pool are great its was and nice. Hotel staff need to be more friendly to all guest. Thank you.

Arrived closed to 2PM. Ample car park. Lobby size is big.
Check in was fast. Got the room on 7th floor; facing the pool.
Room size is good. Good for small family with kid. All seems to function; aircondition, water, TV and internet. Lighting is OK too.
Getting around is easy via GRAB. Also there are couple of malls nearby (Sunway Piramid, Subang Parade and Empire). Seeking food is easy; hotel dine in, room service or there are many eatery place nearby the hotel (few minutes walk).
No doubt that this hotel looked aging; yet some improvement can be done. With some TLC; this place is gonna be great.

I think a lot of people underestimate Holiday Villa, because it isn't a five star hotel. But, once you walk into the Victorian Ballroom on Level 1, you will be blown away. The Victorian paintings and statues, lush greenery, and outdoor lake, combine to give the ballroom a grand appearance.
For our wedding, we had 320 guests (32 tables) and opted for the 9-course Chinese set menu (even though we're an Indian couple. haha). Here's a summary of what we think:
1) Great Food A lot of our guests (Indians and Chinese) loved the food. My husband and I especially loved the fish, prawns, and hot and cold combinations.
2) Stunning Decoration I specified to the Sales Manager exactly what colour scheme I wanted, and it was executed perfectly on our wedding day. My husband and I were SO pleased with how the entire ballroom and courtyard (cocktail area) looked.
3) Good Service We were liaising with Nurul Ain (initially) and I-Rene Quah (later). I must say that they were very accommodating to our requests - especially with the menu and addition of extra cocktail tables. In fact, they gave our guests good room rates (we had about 23 room bookings).
I communicated exactly what we wanted for the floral decorations. On the wedding day, everything from the floral arrangements to the tablecloth and cocktail table colours, looked stunning. It was exactly what we wanted.
The waiters and waitresses that night were incredibly polite as well. They took really good care of the bride and groom that night and ensured that we were seated comfortably and managed to eat something.
4) Spacious rooms The rooms are really spacious, neat, and clean. While the air conditioning system may be a bit old, it works well. All of our guests who stayed in the deluxe and corporate deluxe rooms were happy with their stay.
Don’t miss out on the breakfast buffet. Their eggs and traditional Malaysian food are not to miss.

I have stayed here numerous times for both pleasure and business and I always return as the hotel is a perfect all rounder. Location is just nice within Subang, yet not within the main busy streets so you do have better peace of mind. Parking is also sufficient. The room i stayed in is the Corporate Deluxe and it is very nicely upkeep with excellent cleanliness. It is also very spacious even if you have a child or two with you. It will be definitely suitable if you are staying for business with proper work desk and ample space to spread your belongings.
Last but not least, I would like to commend that the hotel practices excellent SOP in accordance to government requirements with proper demarcation, sanitizing dispensers and social distancing at the buffet breakfast area among others.
Highly recommended hotel!

Stay was good at first called before come and ask few question but when arrived something else was told.We have confirmed our late cout at 2pm with ms thana but later the guy on night shift told us it is not available to hv late cout and then rqst to extend but they said hotel fully book.Too tired to argue we just went to our room. Rqst far from lift instead give the room beside the lift. Taking bath after long day but the holder at the bath tub went off and there are trash inside the cabinet. No floor mat at all. Safety box not function. Dont want to spoiled mood we just closed our eyes and Try to look on Agoda to extend atay and there is still room available and to my surprise i went to their website there are still room available as well.
We manage to extend our stay but were queationed why we did not extend our stay through reception n i just told her all the story as above. As we went to the pool there was an argument between the staff n gst about the pool cleanliness as the water condition was different between every pool. As we did not want room to be make up at night i requested for extra mineral water n they only manage to give 1 bottle. They charge for the mineral water even though u stayover may be.
We tried to support tourism industry n hotel industry but you guys need to do your part also to maintain your hotel.You have a beautiful hotel and emvironment do not waste it...I love to be here n we plan to stay here if we come again hope you can do some improvement when we come again.

Stayed here for 3 nights 4 days. Well what can I say. Very extremely disappointed.
Upon arrival, staff did not bother to greet or even offer some help to assist us with our luggages. Merely standing around and fixated with their daily gossips. Whilst looking at us at a mere distant as though we are lab rats.
So cold was the receptionist that it sent shivers down me spine. A simple smile and welcoming greet would have gone a long way. What happen to the top quality hotel hospitality and malaysian etiquette of friendliness? Quite possibly withering away like the like of the hotel itself.
The rooms, it has this stench of smell that it was uninhibited quite a while. There was barely any guest at all. The fridge is dirty. The room is dusty. Though the room we were given was large but its smell and appearance echo away like a cave.
For the price and the standard, i am at an awe that it still stands. Probably leeching on innocent customer like us who do not the actual quality that we are getting admist its name. There a more that meets the eyes.

I’ve never failed to check into Holiday Villa Subang. I’ve stayed here many times, and it never fails to make my stay a wonderful one.
Although the rooms are rather old, but the size of the rooms, you will never get it anywhere else in Subang Jaya it maybe even in Kuala Lumpur. Rooms are so far very clean on my every check in.
Buffet Breakfast is a wide spread of local and international cuisine.
All in all, value for money. And I will definitely come back again and again.

This is my first time staying at Holiday Villa Subang and I can say it was a disappointment. Stains on the bedsheets and curtain, only 2 pieces of tissue paper left in the room, no shower cap, carpet and sofa feels like it hasnt been washed in a long time, pillows were hard and uncomfortable, the bed wasnt exactly comfortable either, dunno if the sheets were changed or not because it felt like there were bugs crawling on me all night. Breakfast was pretty ok, except for the guests queueing up for food without proper social distancing Pool was awesome. relaxing and serene. I love the bathroom tho. nice and spacious. Check in was a breeze by Darren. courteous and polite, he explained everything clearly, like where was the coffee house to get breakfast and where were the lifts to the guest rooms. Guess i'll need to reconsider if I would book here again the next time.

I stayed here about five years ago but at a lower floor and facing the township. I came back again and was assigned to 18th floor, facing the lake. I like the room which is clean and tidy. The hotel itself is far from unwanted sound of the cars or lrts which make it a good place to unwind

It might take 10-15 mins drive , if you are not at the hotel, consider staying at Sunway hotel. Holliday Villa is very old with low quality of facility
If you are prepaying for the entire stay you can usually negotiate not paying a security deposit. If a deposit is still required it should not be more than 200MRY.
Also remember that Malaysia has a tourist tax for foreigners which is 10MYR per night.
Actually I'm not really sure. I did ask the counter staff & they told me there is no difference. To take advantage of discount on Traveloka, I did several booking, with last 2 nights on Deluxe. That's the reason I asked for the difference as I do not to move room if there is not much difference.
There are more places to choose from in the Subang Jaya area.
