Front desk receptionists were not well trained. Housekeeping were very good. Concierge was helpful. Near to all shopping mall and college. I consider it a 3 stars hotel. Booked a good rate with agoda. Nearby to lrt train. Easy access to all food.
Check in this hotel in June for one night stay. The hotel and rooms were run down and seems no maintenance job has been carried out. The room was big but dirty and dusty. Hotel management should clean up the rooms and corridor even the lifts before accepting booking. The breakfast served was terrible and no replenishment. When the item inside the menu finished, the kitchen just replaced with Fish Ball??? Paid a hotel buffet but having fish ball as breakfast. Cups and water glasses were not enough and replaced with paper soup cup and paper cup. What type of hotel is this ? Absolutely no service at all. After the lock down and when starting the business again, please check and ensure the facilities are clean and ready for business.
stayed there for 14 days for quarantine. extremely bad. i got family room. toilet dirty with mould . yeauks. food wise, extremely extremely bad. chicken smelly. not enough sugar/salt for everything. the only good thing is nice staffs in the hotel. otherwise, do not stay here. mediocre
Midway through 2 week quarantine. Room bright and spacious. Interesting Window view helps pass the time. Meals varied and healthy (plenty of fruit and vegetables included) - some tasty local dishes included. The metal cutlery we were supplied with at the start is much appreciated (reduces the plastic waste from each meal). Although the windows are sealed, the air conditioning works and can be controlled from the bedside (i switch off when i feel cold), so ventilation is bearable. Hotel wi fi not strong - if you’re trying to work, you’ll need your own data package. I paid for a standard package - so it’s good value. A comfortable stay.
The room are big , with bath tub , the hotel is elegant but seems old , the food delivery to the room was a lot but poor variety mostly eastern food , no interactive TV , only few english spelling channel .
Rooms are good, Clean,Maintenance appears to be poor. Room service horrible. Only good thing is the location. If anyone think of staying in this Hotel, do not book B & B. Always good to go only with the room. WE were staying for 6 days and all six days breakfast is the same.Though we paid for the breakfast, for last three days we avoid the food and had all our meals elsewhere
Hotel was okay with a number of facilities like swimming pool and spa. Room is spacious with its normal amenities. However, a couple of things need to be improved to maintain its reputation. Housekeeping chores need to be monitored as we find the washbasin cover faulty but not replaced. Cleanliness of the washbasins need to be improved too. Air conditioners in some rooms are not functioning properly. The worst experience is the parking coupons. We have to pay for it first before claiming it back from the hotel. That's not all. An amount of RM 2.00 is deducted from each parking ticket when you claim it from the receptionist. It's queer and this reflects badly on the hotel's customer service department. Guests have to pay for parking in Summit building? Wow, if that's their policy, I wouldn't recommend this hotel to others. …
The hotel is situated between 2 shopping centres - the Summit which is slightly “down-market but still has a few good food outlets the other is Deman which has a good selection of shops, restaurants and bars. The hotel itself is a bit of a conundrum- we were on the Summit Club floor and this was supposed to include access to club lounge offering, breakfast, free soft drinks all day and cocktails in the evening, however, it was not open once during our week-long stay, in fact the entire floor was deserted, we only saw one other couple during the entire stay. The room was larger than standard rooms and was well furnished, but dated , for example there was a control panel for lights, air con etc, but very old-fashioned and ridiculously placed under the bedside table which next you either had to hang over the edge of the bed or sit on the floor to identify the required switch. The staff were not welcoming, unusual in a Malaysian hotel and varied greatly in number, some days there were door staff and other days no one. The restaurant staff never spoke and only one young lady was extremely pleasant and helpful. The cleaners were not terribly efficient, one of our windows had cobwebs and I dropped some crisp crumbs, I picked up most but some small bits were under the bedside table and were still there when we checked out. The breakfast selection was entirely based on local foods and was excellent, however, if you expect a full English wherever you go in the world then this is not the hotel for you, There was also a small cafe serving snacks, meals, coffee and cake but again this was closed on a number of days. The pool area was OK, but could have been so much better, lots of cheap plastic chairs, grubby mental tables and one (yes, one) lounger. There were some nice shrubs and flowers but no access to drinks, snacks anywhere near the pool. So while the hotel does have all the amenities it advertises they are not necessarily 4 star standard. The hotel is quite some distance from KL centre but situated close to the monorail and bus network, this is a very inexpensive and speedy way to get around.…
This was my 2nd stay here within the same year (2019), and I also booked the same room type as well in order to cater for my entire family (i.e. Superior Queen). The pricing was extremely competitive (even during the year-end festive period) and it was a fair value for money based on the spaciousness of the room plus the overall comfort level. In addition, this time we also tried the in-house buffet breakfast, at an extremely reasonable price of only RM20 per pax. The only major issue that we encountered was that the air-conds in the room were relatively cold... even after we had set it to the highest temperature. Other than that, we were happy with our stay overall.
Wife booked the room due to water shortage. Didn't have huge expectation but also didn't realise how run down they are now. Carpet doesn't feel clean when you walk on it, bathroom wasn't probably clean when you changed for the second time due to low water pressure, and the second room just slightly better. Wifi is weak. When asking for extra bottles of water during to my toddler, the housekeeping staff remind me it would be chargeable for next bottle of water. I guess you should put that in your room so your guest know how valuable is your bottled water. The only thing that is good about this hotel, is the location.
