Heater wasn't functioning, tried calling the receptionist but phone wasn't functioning too. Walked down, receptionist was obliging towards the complain and got a technician to fix it. Before sleeping, tried to off the bed lampshades but the on off button has also malfunctioned. Toilet has lots of stains. It's okay for the hotel to be old, but don't compromise on cleanliness and repairs! The only reason I'm giving it 3 stars instead of 2 stars is because receptionist was receptive to my comments and because I'm giving the hotel the benefit of the doubt because the bed sheets and flooring seemed reasonably clean.

We were on our way, driving to Kelantan, so we stopped by and stay in this hotel for 1 night. The hotel was strategically located in Kuala Terengganu City Centre. There is ample parking available. The hotel was having a renovation at the lobby when we were there, so there was plenty of debris and dust around but the hotel didn't seem to have the efforts to do anything about it.
We stayed in a standard room, king sized bed. The room condition was below average, looks like the bed and furnitures are old. There was no view outside our window. The bathroom has stains and the water heater was not working! Even after calling maintenance to fix, it broke down again. There is no lift, only stairs.
Breakfast was included, downstairs at the run downed hall. The hall is small, and we had to wait 10 minutes for a table. Food was below average, its like they are using cheap food stuff.
We wouldn't return to that hotel ever again, we can probably can get some other hotel with better rooms with the same price.

I am going for my Business Trip, the front desk staff less of smile. The room no clean, washroom no clean, bath towel no clean...Wifi cannot use due to bad coverage signal. Bad experience with the price i pay.

It was a teribble night, and I remembered last time when I used to stay here,it was still ok. I would have stayed in the budget hotel, but thinking that the breakfast would be nice, so I give myself a chance. I'm so dissapointed whereby the breakfast was even worst. I just don't know to describe how bad it was, but prompt actions has to be taken throughtout for a major improvement.
The carpet in the room has to be discarded, old and smelly. The furnitures spoilt and cleanliness is totally not there. Looking at the startegic location and because of all this problems, the hotel will loose it's reputation and potentials.

i stay here last week with my family.and because of my careless,i left my wedding ring inside my room when we check out.i call and ask wheather they found my ring.their receptionist is very2 good and they help to send out my wedding ring back to me by courier.i was very very thankfull to them and i recomend this hotel.their staff is very very good

I stayed here for one night with my boyfriend - we found it after trekking around the city for an hour trying to find somewhere to stay. It wasn't too expensive and it was in the best location! Right next to china town, near to the central market, the bus station and good shopping areas.

Pictures are fake or taken at fhe best room in the best sunny day. In fact Rooms dirty and noisy, no wifi, towels are black. had to call the service 3 times after changing the first assignment as this was in fact used. breakfast sucks. forget this place.

pls dont stay at this hotel because is really worst hotel , the room was dirty and old , staff was not friendly at all. did ask for extra bed but got reply from the staff desk name bahari and was really rude and unprofessional. bfast food was really dirty and tribble food ever. not recommended to stay at this hotel.. pls seri malaysia hotel u spoil a good name of ur hotel..

In our second trip for the road tour Seri Malaysia Hotel at Kuala Terengganu showed consistent service and the location was superb. The hotel is situated on a river bank at the end of the city. The attractions nearby were the shopping places modern and traditional, this includes the famous Pasar Payang. We occupied the family room just nice for four of us. The food was nice with east coast cuisines included in the menu.

Great breakfast, nice view at the cafe over looking the river, average room price, ample parking space, large room but we experience leaking at the aircond, not so clean bathroom, not so friendly staff.
