I stayed here for one night after a long drive from Kota Bharu, after Mom insisted that she wanted to stay here, even though i had book another hotel in Kuala Terengganu through online booking. She said she used to stay here before and for the sake of her nostalgic, i dumped my earlier booking (which had been charged due to last minute cancelation). The room was okay but the bathroom looked really old. No breakfast was offered but there are food stalls nearby. No free wi-fi inside the room. If you wanted the wifi, you must sit in the reception area. Definitely a disappointment when i lost one of the indicator lamps when i check the car in the morning. FYI i parked the car just in front of the entrance door to the reception. I dont think the resort have a guard to look around the resort. I love KT but I'm not coming back to this resort.

This resort is located in a strategic location; near Batu Buruk beach, restaurants and food court and Kuala Terengganu town but, there's flaws on our stay there. The price is too or quite expensive (depending to one's budget) and why I say this is because of the condition of the facilities. The check in was fast and the receptionist is friendly. But the room is small and we can't open the windows fully to feel the wind blowing from the beautiful Batu Buruk beach. Even with seaview we can't fully see the sea as it's partially blocked by small walls dividing the resort from the beach. On our stay the water from one of the faucets at the sink came out brownish. :/ TV set, small wardrobe, teabags and sugar, cups and kettle and toiletries (small soap and shampoo in small bottle which is cute) is provided too. But the swimming pool is too small for us and there's a little crab in there! I think it either came from the beach and is lost there or somebody put it in the pool. Either way, I hope they notice this and take the cute crab back to its home. And one more, there are no breakfast which is not fun with the price paid. There's a restaurant in this resort but it is closed that time and not sure why so we just eat outside at Pak Maidin's restaurant and the food court nearby. If they open the restaurant and make an inclusive breakfast then I'm sure it'll be nice! Besides the restaurant is seaview! :) But again it's closed. :P There's a buggy ride in front of this resort but we got no time to try. Maybe next time! Other than that, you can fly kite, relaxing or just stroll at the beach with family and oh, don't forget to wake up early to see the sunrise which is so beautiful! We take a lot of pictures and selfies there! It's very relaxing and peaceful breathing fresh air, blown by the strong wind on the Monsoon season. ^_^ It's a refreshing experience for our whole family! If the flaws mentioned above is taken notice by BBBR then I'm sure we'll make a comeback as we just adore their beaches. I hope they take good care of Batu Buruk beach along with their resort for the future. Overall, it's a good stay, wonderful experience with the whole family at the beach in early morning and beautiful surrounding of nature! :D

We arrived late in the evening to check in. No staff to help with luggage but they provide a trolley. The location was quite central. We chose it because of this and because they could guarantee us a connecting room. There were many eateries around the area within walking distance. It seemed busy during the weekend (pool area) and quiet on weekday. Staff were polite and friendly. This accommodation is no frills, hot water is good, basic amenities and budget friendly. Had to play around with aircond and got it right the second night, first night was so cold even when we turned the temperature up. There is a big mosquito problem and we had small kids so was a bit worried for them. The room smelt of mosquito spray when we checked in but we had to call the staff to spray some more. It was everywhere! honestly our first reaction was to check out but decided to stay and pretend we were camping and not be too fussy. We bought some mopiko straight away from Mydin 10 mins drive away. You get what you pay for. Also breakfast is simply not available which is fine as theres easily plenty of dining options. Oh one thing to management please clean the turtle enclosure it was a really sad sight to see. Also wouldnt hurt to clean the area around the beach, such a shame as it is a beautiful beach but rubbish scattered everywhere especially near the resort entrance.

First, they advertise complimentary breakfast ALL ROOMS and it was not given. They first claimed only for groups, then said no breakfast given. The wifi is terrible! No access in rooms their modem is located in a Ballroom far away from guest rooms. The staff was courteous as far as housekeeping but the attitude of front desk was never helpful. The bathroom was not clean ... old pieces of toilet tissue on floor and toilet seat not clean. Mosquito problem.

Stayed here for two nights while attending a workshop in their banquet hall. Before my arrival, I was a bit worried about my stay here after reading so many bad reviews in Tripadvisor. But my stay here proved to be not that disappointing. The resort is located strategically near the main town area. Parking spaces were ample. Receptionists were friendly. The room was very clean, albeit small. Comfortable hot shower was available, but the water only became hot after flowing for quite a long time (around 5 minutes). Food was nice, although limited varieties. Sound blocking in the room was not very good, but the resort itself was quiet during my stay, so did not affect me much. Not sure the price though, as I was sponsored by my institution (therefore my review above is based on the assumption that it is a budget resort costing approximately RM100 per night).

The resort was a quick getaway 3 nights. It was situated at the beach with eateries within walking distance. The resort had a rural feel to it and thus we had no high expectations. We only had issues with mosquitoes. The had the sea-view room and it was a beautiful sight of the vast sea. Unfortunately, no swimming in the sea as the currents were very strong. We had fun taking a stroll along the beach where there were many food vendors. Public transport is almost non-existent & we had to call for cab whenever we wanted to go to the town.

We checked in and checked out 30 minutes later. The room was very small, dirty and painted blue with dirty smudges on the wall. The toilet was the worst, so disgusting. Had yellow stains on the tiles and the toilet bowl looked like it had never been scrubbed. The inside of the cupboards were filthy. Our bed sheet was dirty with many stains. Just being in the room felt suffocating. Location is the best in Batu Burok but what a shame. The hotel is so run down. Front office were polite and lobby and cafe looks ok. Rooms really need upgrading badly.

We were there for only 1 nite and that's enough to keep us away a lifetime. We aked for a family room which cost us RM197 (1 queen-bed + 1 single bed; no king-bed available at all) 1. Expensive peak rate not a match with the conditions of this hotel 2. The staircase leading to the rooms from pool-side looked like it was last swept and mopped 6 months ago. 3. Inside the room: cobwebs from the ceiling/the windows cannot be closed shut due to rusty frames/the walls must be made from plywood because even slightest sound in corridor can be heard from inside/a puddle formed inside bathroom after taking a bath/leaking hose (next to the toilet seat)/one ceiling light not working 4. The size of the room is really quite small, too small for a family room. Paid RM15 for an extra mattress and all 4 of us were then practically squeezed in 5. Small size pool. With only kids of the patrons filling the pool, no room for adults to swim. What's good : - location - breakfast altho very limited choice, taste acceptable - aircond works well (must be newly installed)
