My title may have been good enough summary about this resort. Whoever owns this place might be not be too soc-med friendly or could'nt care less about reviews. My mistake was not taking heed about past reviews and maybe just to give them the benefit of doubt. For instance how much would a small packet of soap and shampoo would cost the management to provide for the guest? Just imagine after snorkeling trip and spending time on the beach, you came back to the room to refresh and take shower.... and found out there was no soap and shampoo? Sounds trivial but wait until you experience it youself. My suggestion to the management - charge a few extra RM and do provide this "insignificant" item. If you think I am nit-picking in my review, well I am not. A few other things worth mentioning like general cleanliness and upkeep of the room bla..bla..bla.. which is rather standard item in this industry. Maybe the owner is not interested to take his hospitality business to a hihger level but even if one is not that ambitious, basic amenities and services shall be made available for the guess...... because if you asked me, I will not only come back here, I will not even recommend this place to others. Not experience staff … looks like a very low cost chalet for me… nothing much that we can do here … Room so small , towels not ready in the room,toiletries like soap & shampoo not given. Snorkeling facilities outdated. No jetty to get on the boat … pity for small children need to climb on the boat. Food not much choice .. place here not clean Don’t even seen any cleaner around

3D2N family trip. Quadruple room. Pro: Location is good. Just right beside the beach. Con: Malay food served. Breakfast not even a piece of bread or egg. Fried Meehun and fried rice ( balance vege and rice from last night, mixed and re-fried again). Kids who can’t take spicy is suffer in every meal. Find nothing to eat. Special request fried eggs for kids and they provided. Tea time kuih is hard to chew…nothing else. Room is dusty and seems like no proper room keeping. Toilet bowl and sink are dirty. No any toiletry (not even a roll of toilet paper). Please remember to prepare by yourself. Overall here is cheap for budget tourist but strongly suggest to pay a little more for others resort if affordable.

Bad service. Supposed to have buffet meal but no! Then when the weather was good boatman decided to cancel snorkeling trip! They said the Snorkeling point water gonna b rough. But when we ask other resort they still continue the snorkeling trip and water was good. Please avoid this chalet

This place is super nice but i book 3 room for 3 days and 2 night. 2 of My room got aircond got leaking and not cool even u put the lowers temperature. When i asked receptionist to send the maintenance guy he came and check but from what i see the way he check that air conditioner is wrong because i also have a plant maintenance background so when i see and asked simple questions he cant answer somehow he is a Bangladesh maybe he dont have maintenance knowledge just need a work. So when i came to reception and told the girl she just believe what that guy tell him… and she told me that nothing she can do (in the arrogant way). She also asked me to drag the bed to another way to avoid leaking is good of she give me the tools and i do the aircond problem. So for me this chalet u only can stay for 1 night not more than that. Otherwise u will suffer like me for 3 day like stay in a tent and u cant stay inside u room in the afternoon.…

If you are looking for long beach and muslim friendly affordable price at Redang, you should book this resort. Their food is complete from breakfast to dinner but the snorkelling trip for this resort quite disappointing because of marine park is closed during covid 19. So they just go to snorkel at open sea.. 3 checkpoint. If you want many checkpoints, should check on other package or u can just snorkel in front of the chalet. Do find also this is the average type of room. If you are looking for luxury kind of thing, you can book other resorts. Snorkelling equipment rental is cheap here if you are staying in this chalet. At night you can walk along the long beach to see night view

Stayed for 3days 2 nights: -old chalet - toilet was really very very very dirty. - no water heater. biggest disappointment. water so damn cold in the morning - airconditioner was working good, it was so cold day and night. But i was not able to change temperature,remote not functioning issue i guess, so i was freezing at night, couldnt even sleep, as i woke up every single hour due to the coldness - they provided you with small bedsheet as blanket, looks more like kids blanket, which was so thin and even with 2 small bedsheets covering me, i still could'nt sleep! - therefore, please bring your own TOWEL and your own THICK BLANKET during your stay! - food was good, you just need to come early during meal time. - the beach in front was so beautiful. no need to go to Marine Park to snorkel, you can try to snorkel in front of the resort, I found it more beautiful and clean to snorkel here than somewhere near the marine park, deep sea. Even saw baby sharks during my session - snorkeling trip included in the package were good, don't miss any - you will have to swim to the speed boat for the snorkeling trip - no tv in the chalet - no fan in the chalet - no rug or dustbin provided in the chalet, you will have to ask the reception for a garbage plastic - no toilettries provided - do bring your own - wifi provided but not able to connect during my stay, i had to be close to the cafe for a free wifi. using my own data all the time So overall, i enjoyed the beach but not the resort.…

Package rm320/pax fullboard 3d2n.. food is tasty and friendly staff. Best location, in the middle of long beach. Snorkelling spot on the right side is great, corals is beautiful and friendly reef sharks. Snorkelling trip is worst because you have to swim to get on board, boat can’t go really near the beach

Open sea service is not so good. The kitchen staff is good. But the boat personels are not that friendly. Also lack of responsibility. When we checked out at the morning, they transfered us by a car to the transit harbor. They didn't give any information. When we arrived at the transit harbor, the car driver left us without any confirmation to the boat. So the boat left us. Lack of coordination and information. Not recommended for new first timer.

This is 4 th visit to Redang island and 1 st time stayed here .The Package offer was quiet budget below Rm 350 nett perperson Food - The Food was nice and really authentic malay served here and following the time lunch and dinner and BBQ will do by yourself such like Fish and squid and chicken provided .Food was cooked by Indonesian staff Bedroom -Shower head leaking and room was damn Dusty around ceiling and super THICK dust found at Fans .Only provided sample 1 blanket and 1 towels only but NO bathmat .Been Prepared bring some own towels and mosquitoes spray Resort-Surrounding area was nice and really clean and like Kampung style Location- close to Jetty and beach.after 5 Pm you may swim to see the nemo
