My room was very hot. We complained and maintenance came to fix it and we were told to put the thermostat to the most minimum temperature which we did to no avail. The afternoons were very warm so we opted to go out instead , but at night it was tolerable.

2ndly, our balcony had cigarettes butts which shows housekeeping didn't really clean.

The 2nd room we stayed in, the hose by the toilet was leaking and bathrooms were not well cleaned.

3rd, not enough bathmats provided. If we wanted extra, we had to pay rm10. So the bathroom became slippery and we had to be really careful.

4th, the swimming pool was also dirty with debris from trees and dried grass, we found, again, 2 cigarette butts in the pool itself swimming with us. Water was dirty too. As there was a heavy turnout, they didn't have enough pool towels and we were told laundry staffs have gone home. There were not enough deck chairs for the amount who came to swim. No chairs were provided and some sat on the grass and the tiles which is quite a pathetic sight for a hotel that has been in the business for more than 15 years.

The management needs to maintain the pool tiles too..they were quite sharp on the toes, god forbids anyone to tear their skin.

Furniture was old and room was musky when we entered. TV cabinets were so old and broken too.

I am sorry but this hotel was a disappointment. I have been to better ones lesser the price and prestige.

Stayed in the twin deluxe room level 11 facing sea view for two nights. The room is quite standard, the twin beds are big enough to fit 1 adult and 1 kid, the toilet has not bath tub, just a shower with medium water flow pressure. But the view from the balcony is breathtaking.

The hotel staffs are pleasant and attentive. Every time we call for room service or housekeeping, they entertained well. The room service food are acceptable. Kids like PBH nasi goreng cina a lot. We ordered 3 times of room service. Oh yea, extra charges RM10 for extra towel.

However, the breakfast buffet are below the par. Nothing special at all. Extra charges for kids at RM29 per pax, even the kids took nasi lemak kosong and telur rebus. Not worth.

The swimming pool is new, I think less than 2 month old. And the old swimming pools have been renovated to mini garden. Anyway, kids love the pool with mini slide since the beach is not allowed to swim.

The hotel is located to Pantai Batu Buruk. If you want to have street meals, just walk by only. Easy access to get meals.

The room on the 8th floor was clean, comfortable and the aircon was cool enough for a good night sleep. The swimming pool is small and more suitable for children. Staff were friendly and breakfast was good. The gym needs to be refurbished and the beach front litter should be collected daily.

Avoid staying here. Decaying hotel , very old and run down. Very basic room with poor wifi connection . They provide only two 350ml bottles in the room and charge exorbitantly for water. Location is good but everything else pretty low standard .

From the arrival to the departure of my family and me...the service rendered was excellent! Hamadi being the operation manager ensured that we had what we requested for considering my parents who are on wheelchairs. All our rooms had a beautiful sea view with beautiful beaches along Batu Burok. Next was Kamal, the F&B manager who had been assisting and accommodating our requests every time we were at the restaurant despite having full house during our 3 nights stay. Not forgetting the Concierge staff named Nuar who had assisted me and my sister in law carrying our purchases during the busy hour at Pasar Payang of which I never expected. These staff that I had experienced with is truly an Asset to Primula as they walked an extra mile to make our stay at the hotel a memorable one. I don't deny that some part of the hotel need refurbishment but with the quality of service rendered to me & my whole family, it has mada us feel very comfortable.

The hotel definitely needs refurbishing. Stayed for 3 nites. Room had the basic amenities. Staff were friendly and helpful. If you don't fancy hotel food, there's A&W about 5 min on by foot, KTCC Mall about 10 min drive and at the beach there are food stalls. You can catch the sunrise either from your room or walk to the beach

It was the best of the worst of the hotels in the area, short of doing a homestay. The only positive of this place is the location. There's also ONE parking bay for electric cars, but it's only one AC charger, so ymmv.

Rooms we got on the 9th floor (I think they were refurbished?) were clean, but not meticulously so - there's still the odd ant and grey hair, etc in places. Taller people might find the bathroom too low for their comfort.

Didn't bother watching the TV because there was only one channel that was clear and everything else was too static-y to watch for long. The Wi-Fi is kind of sad and not freely given unless specifically requested (so we did), and even then, it's only enough for doomscrolling soc med and not anything more.

Breakfast was also kinda meh. Wouldn't really spend own money coming back here to stay, to be honest. As it is, it felt like we overpaid for the rooms.

The compound was abit old and our room was rundown. Cleanliness was poor. Human hairs here and there , toilet was rusty, stained and sandy..Aduiiii !!

This is the scary parts. Our night stay was creepy that night due to the sight of unexpecting. We don't know how to describe or maybe it's just our imagination. But yes it is fuhhhhhh. I Accidentally took a selfie at the garden around 11pm and caught this unexpecting object inside my selfie.. wooooow goosebumps and i move from there.

This is the best part from our stay , we really touched by one of the concierge. He serve us with sincere and passion. MR ADLI was good person, with good communication skills and kind. To the management of this hotel please take a good care of this potential staff (MR ADLI). we believe he can bring this hotel image to the better level.

Location was great, you could easily walk and not need a ride everyday. But breakfast wasn't so good. The hotel itself wasn't sure bad But it has seen better days and there was little bit of renovation going on so maybe they'll upgrade place to this day.

Great staff team, the hotel struggles to keep up with developments around it . The food was good but in serious need of refurbishment and a good cleaning. The Hotel is more for seminars and Government events and many of the staff have been working here since Day One.
