We stayed for 2 nights. The rooms were clean but old. Breakfast was just okay for travellers like us. Quite a strategic place as it is very near to Masjid Putih, pasar Payang, Chinatown and food stalls along the Terengganu river. The hotel as a whole is just fine for us. But what we want to highlight is the hotels' friendly and helpful staff. We arrived pretty early to check in and they made an attempt to get the rooms ready, helped to photocopy few documents without charging, got their technician right away to our room when we had problem with the aircond etc. May seem mall matters to some but for us kindness is very much appreciated.

the good part about this hotel is the location. just in the town and walking distance to some attractions and the main bus station in Kuala Trg. The facilities were good even not updated. The room was clean. the breakfast was moderate and the foods not the same for the 2 days we stayed. Just the main menu, Nasi dagang they served for both days. the staff really helpful.

Worsted hotel stayed in my travel life time. Room was dim and smelled mouldy, the window side was so dirty, bed linen with dirty stain, couldn’t sleep for the whole night. Forgot to print one page of document that I need for next day, ask the reception staff possible to help me to print, no problem if it’s chargeable. But the answer from the staff was as simply as “NO”. There is no hospitality at the all. There are many more to say but no point to write more, therefore I can only rate this hotel as 1 star.

TRavelling during Ramadan. Stay here for 4 days. Nearby mosque and town Kuala Terengganu. Hotel did not provided full toiletries such as dental kit and cotton bud. When asked the reception, guest have to pay additional charge for that. So non sense. So sad with menu in breakfast (sahur). They only provide rice and a few lauk for sahur. No fruits, eggs and others. I noticed that the menu for sahur is come from buffet ramadan. Because of that, i only had my sahur in the rooms for 3 days. I don't know where is grand for this hotel.

Staff are so friendly and helpful. When we came they were just upgraded their door lock system and it was still dirty, loads of dust and had to return the keys back since we got the old ones. Sort of inconvenient as we need to wait at the dusty hall way for quite awhile. My room doesnt have an iron so i called the housekeeping but it didnt came at all. I went there for a wedding, turning up in a wrinkly outfit might as well dont go at all. Shower curtain needs to be changed asap. Location is nearby to the places that i want to visit. Near to banks, convenient store, bus station but the alleyways are creepy after dark

We only stayed for a night as a transit to our long journey. The hotel is right in the city center and nearby the Pasar Payang (5-7 mins drive) We checked-in in a standard room only and the room was a bit small and the bed was hard and you can feel the spring poking your body. The hotels looks very worn out and needs refurbishment.

Despite being one of the earliest hotel in Kuala Terengganu, i still believe Grand Puteri is considerable. Stayed at Grand Puteri few times during outstation as well as during vacation. Good location. Walking distance to my office. Beside mosque and near to bus terminal and pasar payang. Friendly and polite staff.Good breakfast as well.

This hotel is quite old....amongst the earliest hotel built in Kuala Terengganu. Plus point - the hotel is situated right in the middle of town...hence walking distance to many tourist attractions. The staff are friendly, always smiling and helpful. Minus point - hotel is old, so amenities quite out of date. No toothbrush/razer blade provided for hotel quests, carpet in the room looks old, tv in the room very small and the fridge is not working. Parking is also limited The hotel rates is quite reasonable. Breakfast is quite average with limited choices. We stayed in the hotel for 2 nights and breakfast for the 2 days is the same menu.

Grand Puteri is a nice medium-range hotel ate very reasonable rates. This big building is well located, close to the bus station. Fair breakfast buffet, nice rooms, those at more elevated floors with excellent views of the city. There is a mosque nearby, so if your sleep is light, ask for a room that is not too exposed to the mosque.
