Despite it's only units of shoplots, this hotel is cosy and comfortable enough provided you take room with window.

Otherwise, room without window does looks very small and very little space to move around. Also very little space to put your luggage or to pray if you are a Muslim.

Overall, nice and comfy hotel despite it's a budget hotel. Not much complaint.

Very nice boutique hotel near the centre of Kuala Terengganu new developed commercial area. The room was very clean and the beds were just superb. The toilet and bathroom were modernised as they had mostly push button functions. They also have a nice restaurant on the ground floor serving fusion cuisines. The KT Mall is just walking distant.

The Good:
1. Location; surrounded by restaurants and shops. Lively at night.
2. Spacious toilet; one of the best no frills toilet in a budget hotel
3. The staff will pay the parking metre during the morning to your parked car to avoid summons from the local authority
4. Asia Restaurant is just downstairs
5. 15 minute walk to Pasar Payang, just follow the road

The Bad:
1. Room privacy; open the door immediately is the bed, risk being seen by passers by in the hallway
2. Sound Proofing; can hear footsteps and murmurs outside the room
3. Smoking: although state non-smoking area, can immediately smell cigarette smoke from outside the room if someone is smoking
4. Elevator up to level 4 only. Have to take stairs to level 5

check in 26th March for my 3rd visit to this hotel. as usual, front desk staff ok but unfortunately no power supply in the afternoon 4pm. Was told TNB is fixing something and totally understand not hotel's fault. Decided go out for hang out in cafe and mall and back to Hotel in the evening, still no power supply. Have no choice and going to take shower in friend's house and return to hotel at 10pm, as was told by the staff, power resume.
When i back to room, power supply cut off again. I was tired and decided to check out. Front desk staff promise to refund after 2-3days after checking with their manager , Ms Sharon.

Follow up refund issue after 3 days and was told by the staff, unbale to contact booking.com and will try again. Ask me to call back after 1 week, if i still do not receive my refund.

After 1 week, i call hotel and still , no news on my refund and this round manage speak to the Manager , Ms Sharon and she told me i should call booking.com to cancel my booking instead of Hotel. I was upset and explain the flow to Sharon as im the hotelier as well. Then only she realize unable to push the responsibility to booking.com and promise to refund.

Still, the refund process took another week as she mention boss was no around. I am taking total 2weeks to follow up.

Guess this is the last round i check in to this hotel.

Very clean for such a hotel with its price range (rm60-70), compared to others in the area.

Well worth to stay, especially for sleep over.

Hotel Wifi was working well, smooth.
Bathroom & hot shower was good.

TV channel is OK (astro w local, news, disney, sports, Fox movie, nat geo and few dynasty channels). Believe can bring own astro card to swap temporarily in room, but didnt try).

Have all basic necessity. Elevator only up to 4th floor. Need to continue with stairs if stay at 5th floor (topmost).

Have several restaurants nearby including one with the hotels. 7Eleven is within walking distance.

Without an advance booking we thought we'd try our luck getting a room and for 110RM for 2pax we got a standard room. The room was slightly squishy but as long as you don't unpack like a tornado went through your room you'll be fine.

The room was immaculately clean - probably cleaner than my own home!

I guess being new everything is still in good condition. We had a really good night sleep on the comfortable new bed and cranked up the aircon to a frosty temperature so we could sleep with the cosy doona on. The pillows seemed expensive - again more expensive than my own pillow. Towels smelt lovely and clean.

The tv had a decent selection of channels and the wifi was good. The parking is street parking, but the hotel pay for the meter for you. Our car was safe and we got a park right out the front despite it being a busy Saturday night.

Next time we're in town this will be my first choice of place to stay. It was great value and we had the best night sleep we'd had in ages.

We stayed here for 8 nights while visiting family for Chinese New Year. It is clean, within walking distance to Chinatown, and to the beach which is right behind the hotel, and there is a restaurant downstairs opened from 12 noon to 12 midnight serving good local foods with some western fare as well. The room is simple and minimalistic, which is not a problem for us but two of the nights I could smell cigarette smoke which came through the door or vent, and when I called the front desk I was told they cannot control if someone is smoking on the floor. I would like that they post a sign for no smoking or assign those who have sensitivity to a non smoking floor. I would stay here again in the future when home visiting family as long as the smoke situation is not a problem. Also one night someone came knocking at 3 AM. As there is not a peep hole on the door or neither is there a chain, you are forced to open to door just to see who it is and ? possibly having it slammed into you should someone choose to do that. I would like to see at least that a peep hole is available in a hotel where anyone can walk in off the street into the floors where the rooms are.
Overall it is a good place to stay

i came here on business and stay here with friends for a night. this hotel just newly opened for a week and located beside tanjong vista hotel. basically it's a corner shop lot upgraded into a hotel. lobby was on the first floor since the ground floor they use it for their restaurant. this hotel have 4 floors and their lift only can go up to 3rd floor. the room is small but it was clean though. it is better to get a room with window. power socket outlet provide usb outlet which is very useful for guest forgot to bring their charger terminal. this hotel provide no breakfast.

it was located near to Pasar Payang. Easy to find local food.Clean room. Helpful staff. Just if possible to include the parking rate into the hotel rate as well.I felt it was slightly troublesome after along journey you just want to checking in and have a rest, but then you have to down again to pay for your parking (hotel only paid for your parking starting from the following day, not the day you checking in) but overall everything was just good and value for money...
