Beautiful resort set along a beautiful beach. Food was great. The staff was very helpful. We had Junior Suite, which was very spacious and comfortable with a large balcony. The resort is luxurious and you are treated five star. Nothing to complain about, really.

Where to begin? It’s a small island but with lots of variety. Get around it, don’t just stay close to your resort. You are from Birmingham (where my folks are from). We’re Australian, and I know distances are less of a big deal for us, but really, things aren’t far away. Don’t waste your time hiring a car. You can take a taxi for the same sort of costs and have the driver spend the day with you, wait in the car for you etc. The resort front desk will tell you what it costs to go where and for how long and organise a taxi with people they vouch for. If the driver offers to take you duty free shopping, don’t bother, unless you like tacky. Go to the towns where people live. We like Port Louis and also Curepipe. If you are near Flic en Flac it’s cute. The weather and winds are different depending on where you are. The touristy towns are less interesting. Whoever takes you to your resort will offer you various tours. If you are there for weeks give some a go. The options seem endless. If you are a golfer, try some other courses. Taxi there. Remember you will incur green fees if you are not resort guests. The island golf course on Il Aux Cerfs is pretty special. Enjoy the people of Mauritius. There are several cultures and they all get along. Talk to the staff, the taxi drivers etc. They are lovely people and you will get a lot out of meeting them. Chill out, put on sun screen, have a wonderful time.

The water supplied by the Mauritius Central Water Authority or CWA is treated to meet the norms set by the World Health Organization for drinkable water. It means our water is safe for drinking. It is perfectly safe for shower and daily toilet however we suggest you drink bottled water. Feel free to visit our website or contact us directly for any further query.
