Hi, I stayed here for 2 nights during a 3wk visit in Morocco. At this point in my trip I had stayed at seven 3 star hotels to make comparisons. This hotel is located right in the medina of Essaouira. You have to carry your luggage into the medina from the main rd (closest will be Avenue Mohammed V) and...

Hotel Souiri was in a great, central location in the middle of all the shops. Easy walking distance everywhere. Breakfast was good, although the showers in the rooms did not work very well (pressure or temperature).

This hotel is in the old town and porters from outside the city gates took our luggage through the maze of streets to our hotel. This was a small and friendly establishment in the heart of this busy seaside town. The rooms were well appointed for a standard hotel and the bathroom facilities in tip top order. The bed was...

This hotel is in the medina which is kind of cool, but that means you have to transport your own luggage in from the road or have it transported by cart. We had room 124. There is no elevator and this hotel has several floors. There is a sitting area between our room and the next, which is cool if...

Part of our Gadventure tour, so no choice...but it was a great choice made for us. Clean, and our room had it's own bathroom (not shared as some rooms are). Bed was comfortable, wifi worked great, and the breakfast bread was slightly different the 2 mornings we were there. LOVE the apricot jam on the "crepes". The OJ was freshly...

Don't expect too much, especially hot water at this hotel. I stayed here as part of a group in April 2016. We stayed 2 nights and not once did I have Hot water for a shower. This was just not my problem, but most of my group told me that they had the same problem. The room it self was...

Located in the medina of Essaouira, this lovely hotel has very clean and comfortable rooms, friendly staff and a quiet atmosphere. Its a midrange hotel, with basic but proper facilities. The staff can help you with all kind of activities.

This hotel has a great location in the middle of the medina. It has a lot of different rooms (150dh for single with shared bathroom, 250dh single with ensuite, 320dh twin with ensuite, triple with ensuite 400dh) so it's good for big groups or different budgets. Breakfast is free and the usual bread, jam and coffee. Staff spoke English (were...

Hotel Souiri is in the heart of Essaouira and as such could be a be noisy for some. My room looked over the main street so sitting on the windows seat gave you the chance to watch the world go by. Breakfast is very basic – Orange juice, tea\coffee, bread & jam Staff are not the most friendly but will...

We recently spent two nights here as part of a two-week tour of Morocco. I thought I had seen the worst hotel of our trip already, but it turned out I was wrong. The only thing this place has going for it is its location. To say that the rooms are basic is a bit of an understatement. I would...

“Medina side gives you a true flavour of Morocco! Want quiet? Don't choose this side! I loved looking out and seeing the street life unfold.”

“Beware rooms overlooking the street - they seem desirable by day for the light and balconies but not good for rest overnight. Closing the windows and trapping in the heat to shut out the noise of people is not a good exchange.”

“Don't face the mosque or internal courtyard. We believe some rooms have no tv or private bathrooms, so if this is important, best to ask.”
