How can we describe in words how wonderful this place is? The seamless organisation from start to finish, the decor, the comfort, the style, the roof terrace, the location, the food... THE FOOD.... and the charming, delightful, helpful staff (wow, what staff, especially Hakkim who went out of his way to help and worked so incredibly hard). I just can't...

The service from the 1st moment was very good. We were collected from the portside carpark by a young guy with a cart for luggage and guide through the medina to the riad. The welcome was very personal with lots of information. We were upgraded to the suite which was a pleasant surprise. The food was just magnificent; very creatively...

The Riad Malaika is perfectly situated up a quiet side street within the walls of the medina. An oasis of tranquility only a minutes walk from all the action in the main street. The riad is beautifully decorated and the staff are the sort of people you would invite around for tea if they were your neighbours. You get a...

We spent a very enjoyable week at Riad Malaika; the staff were very helpful and friendly, the riad itself was beautiful. You must try dinner there at least once during your stay as it is definitely the best food in Essaouira! Would definitely recommend it to anyone.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at Riad Malaika. The manager (Ibrahim I think?) answered any questions we had and recommended some great restaurants. Our room was typical in style and very beautiful. There was always plenty for breakfast.

Just had a lovely 2 days/3 nights at the Riad Malaika - lovely place, lovely staff, and just the most unexpectedly amazing food! The dinner we had there really was one of the best meals that I have had in any restaurant anywhere for a long long while.

Stayed for one night at this Riad, which is large, comfortable with friendly and helpful staff. The Riad has a large number of bedrooms, we had the suite because we wanted separate bedrooms. The suite is well equipped (coffee machine but sadly no capsules, fridge etc) and fairly spacious. We ate dinner in the Riad by the fire and can...

We recently stayed at Riad Malaika and it was really charming. The riad itself is very small and in a great location. The staff was nice and very friendly. It was pretty cold the night we stayed at Riad Malaika and there didn't appear to be any heat and so I would recommend staying here during warmer months. Overall, it...

I stayed in this Riad with my wife and our 10 month old daughter for a week in November 2016. We had the two room suite on the top floor next to the roof terrace. From start to finish it could not have been a more wonderful experience. A taxi (including baby car seat!) was arranged for us from the...

Riad Malaika is perfectly located deep in the old city, on the northern edge of the medina. The hosts were very accommodating and the rooms very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and perfectly adequate. The medina is car free so the riad is very quiet and peaceful at night. We had a great time there.
