I went to Morocco for a week with friends. We travelled all around the country, and this was by far my favorite riad. Riad Dar L'Oussia had all the amenities of a modern hotel combined with traditional charm. Some of the other riads we stayed were quite old and in need of refurbishing. We stayed in one of the suites....

If you’d had asked me before this break what I thought of Moroccan accommodation and service I would have replied just around average but a recent break at the Dar Loussia ahs significantly upped my opinion. As soon as I walked in I know this place was a cut above the rest, everyone from the gardeners to the cleaners to...

The hotel is beautiful, clean and in a very good location with wonderful terrace overlooking the sea. We stayed in the junior suit, room 31, which is very beautiful with great bed and limited sea view. Only problem with the room is the since it is located at the top floor (under the roof terrace) every morning at 7:00 hours...

From start to finish, I was impressed with this delightful and professionally run Riad. From our arrival being greeted with smiles all the way. The staff from management to cleaners were all very friendly and the service throughout was excellent. The place was spotlessly clean. We ate there one evening on the rooftop terrace (which can be very windy) and...

It feels rather grand but its clean The rooms were simple and clean and not too fussy Beautiful candles at night and the food was delicious. The local parking was helpful as we drove from Casa Nice place to be.... but wrap up at night for...

In all honesty I can rave more about this Riad/Hotel de Charme. I rarely write reviews here but I think this one is truly justified. Having read a few negative reviews here before going I was a bit nervous so first I should specify a few things so people aren't disappointed. The hotel is constructed in a usual Riad this...

We spent our honeymoon here, quite by accident after being let down by our booking with another hotel. The staff were so helpful and bent over backwards to accomodate us, the rooms were lovely with lots of character and charm, although only the most expensive suites had baths (but in a country where water can be scarse this seemed resonable!)...

Took our first trip to Morocco in March 2009. We found Dar L’Oussia ( riad style small hotel) to be very well situated just inside Essaouira's medina walls and a short stroll from the main taxi drop off point. The hotel was very clean and very tastefully decorated and well appointed. Probably due to the season we were among just...

Unfortunately our stay was just 2 nights. Not nearly long enough! The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and rooms of a super standard with rose petals placed on the turnback. Nice touch. The Riad is really close to the town and harbour and the internet was free. Wonderful. But the highlight for us was the riad's hamman. What a...
