We stayed for 8 nights in February The location was great and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The food was amazing and we choose to eat in every other night, as could not beat the home cooking, especially fish tagine and the open fire. The room was lovely, having windows a tad noisy, but lovely to have light...

Excellent central location, lovely hosts very helpful, lovely complimentary breakfast, beautiful bathroom, clean - excellent The room we booked for four adults was much too small, one double bed and two narrow short couch beds.

We stayed here for 2 nights as 2 couples renting the 4 person room (one double and two singles) singles were a bit small but the place was nice and quiet with a cool deck on the room and clean. Would recommend.

This riad is a great choice, excellent central quiet and safe location. It has recently been totally redone to the highest standard with gorgeous rooms, amazing artwork and a true Moroccan home feel. The bathroom was stunning! The roof terrace has a wonderful view and you can choose to have your breakfast there or in the lovely dining room. The...

We stayed here for 5 nights following a 10 day tour of Morocco. We stayed in the suite on the top floor, it was very clean and spacious and ideally located in the medina and just a 5 minute walk to the beach. Staff were very friendly but speaking French is an advantage. We loved everything about staying here. If...

We were a few days in this Riad with our childeren. The family room was spacious and nice decorated. Breakfast was delicious. There are several terraces and a nice rooftop. We got Marrocain tea and pastries as a warm welcome. Sea is nearby and the Riad is in the hart of the medina. A very nice place to be!

The riad is fine, but I expected a bit more after reading some reviews, the location is good, the rooms are fine, breakfast too. It is a pity the terrace was not really ready to be used (maybe it was not the season yet). I did not like so much is that there was never anybody in the riad apart...

On a week’s holiday in Marrakech, we spontaneously decided to visit Essaouria and stay over. As this was spontaneous we hadn’t booked a hotel so as soon as we arrived we went to a cybercafé to figure out our next stop. We found Riad l'Ayel d'Essaouira and it had excellent reviews. However, it was difficult not to compare it to...

We stayed for three nights at the Riad l'Ayel and couldn't have wished for better. This white washed riad the Riad far exceeded our expectations: the owners, Jean Paul and his wife Christine, and the staff (Lachen and the sweet Nisrine) could not have been nicer. Nisrine produced every night wonderful Moroccan meals for us and every dinner, jowing with...
