As soon as you walk in you forget you are in the middle of a bustling medina. Beautiful colour scheme and interior, I particularly liked the black and white photography on the walls. We were shown great care from the start when we were collected from the bus stop and escorted to the guesthouse to be greeted with some mint...

Love your 'Unsavoury characters lurking around in the street'!! Yes - sadly - all part and parcel of the Gnaoua Music Festival, when more than 200 000 people come to Essaouira! Sadly, a small minority of whom, are not here for the music, but, only to loiter with 'intent'! So, always best to be on the safe side, and keep...

We stayed here for 4 days and had a great time. Sue was a wonderful host and very helpful. The room was clean and tidy but next time I'll go for the big one! The roof top terrace is wonderful, with a great view of the sea and the medina. We'll be back!

A fantastic Riad in a great location. The Riad looks great with fantastic attention to detail. We were in the top story room. In the evenings we would open the windows, feel the night breeze and listen to the ocean and the sea gulls. The Riad was really nice and the best place we stayed in in our 2 week...

ha ha ha - yes, sorry, no elevators in the old riads in the medina, so, luggage has to be carried up. That's a (momentary), down-side, to the otherwise, very up-side, of staying at the top of the riad, with it's privacy, self-containment, and sweet, little, private garden terrace. We very much enjoyed your stay with us...and thank youi for...

Lunetoile is a wonderful riad in one of the quiet alleys in the old town. Charmingly decorated with real Moroccan character. The service was excellent, with great suggestions from Sue of places to eat. We had the lovely apple-pie in the restaurant a few minuts walk from the riad. Thank you Sue, Latifa and Kabira!!

Walking through winding streets until your head is spinning with the sights and sounds of the Medina in this beach side city, you finally reach Lunetoile. An authentic Riad that has been fully renovated, it is cool and beautiful on the inside. Sue, the proprietor, (who came out to meet us at the opening of the Medina-- how would you...

Thank you so much for having , and taking, the time to write a lengthy review, albeit, more about Essaouira than Lunetoile, but, that, too, is of interest to would-be guests. Many thanks. We do, as you noted, meet all of our guests. It is a courtesy, even if our riad is one of the easiest, perhaps, to find, as...

We have had a wonderful stay in Essaouira. Everything was done to make our stay a perfect one, and with succes! The guidance from the bus station, the warm welcome with moroccan tea and biscuits. And then the room... We stayed in the appartment and it was fantastic: clean, cosy, well decorated and bright, with the extra luxury of having...

Lunetoile is a gem of a riad in one of the quiet alleys in the old town. Charmingly decorated with real Moroccan character. The service was excellent, with Sue on hand for any suggestions of places to eat or explanations about Moroccan life. Great breakfast as well and lovely roof terrace.

Thank you - thank you - thank you..... I would just like to add, that, in fact, as opposed to being situated on some 'quiet alley', we are, actually, on the main road in the medina, but, up at the quiet, northern, end, which makes it easy to find, and easily accessible at night. Thank you, again, for your input,...
