We stayed one night and had a great experience. Nice clean room. Great breakfast. We would for sure stay here again. We stayed in the light house. Amazing view of the bocas. Catching a water taxi is super easy. Great food right down the beach....More
My wife and I spent 5 days in Cabin 5. It was everything advertised and we had a great time. The cabin was perfectly clean and well appointed and had a small refrigerator, which judging from earlier reviews is a new amenity. Breakfast (eggs, pancakes,...More

Cute little cabins right on the water. Contrary to other reviews, I didn't find that you could snorkel right from your door. Water was only about waist deep and nothing to see. Nice view though. Bad sand fleas that bite! Once they start, we were...More

If I want to travel alone, am I safe? Is Carnival the best time of year? Where is the very best place to stay alone or as a couple to enjoy Bocas town, Zapatillas Isles, and totally kayak and visit all cayos and the abundant shallow waters. Dining is never my first concern, safety, clean lodging and private bathroom and lodging are. I can sacrifice food for beach when travelling to Cuba, but would love to enjoy fresh seafood and meals on this trip. This trip is about resting, and seeing or meeting ocean creatures. I have stayed on Pacific side of Panama at del Cameron end of May 2013, as an ocean lover it was far too rough. I was told the conditions were unusual. I loved walks on the beach day and nite, felt very safe. Already saw the Panama Canal and a tour of the old city. Did not do any shopping, 1 day of shopping for my daughters would be awesome. Any tips based on these requirements would be appreciated, I exhaust myself trying to design perfect vacations, modestly with bed bugs and other cleanliness issues in mind. Food is a bit important on this trip as well as beauty and culture. Quiet nights are awesome, with easy access to nitelife available for boredom crazy feelings. I despise wearing water shoes in ocean, I love safe soft sand. I have only taken a few 5* vacations in my lifetime, I am no princess but some necessities are important. Help me out, fellow Panama and South America lovers. Btw, we are a French and Italian Canadian couple, should we be able to travel together. Xo thanks to all for any input you can provide me. Safe travels to all.
