Stayed at this all-inclusive hotel for one night on September 20th. The hotel, although nice, with beautifully trimmed gardens and lawns, is NOT a 5-star hotel, as it claims to be. Maybe a 4 star, but not 5. Nevertheless, it does have its charms

There are several tours of the City of Panama. The tour we chose which was fantastic was a day long tour of the Panama Canal on a large cruise boat. It is an early start to the day, but they serve breakfast and lunch on the boat, you go through three locks and then cruise to Gatun Lake which is about halfway through the canal. Excellent value for money.

The sand is certainly black and grey mix....mostly dark where the seats are...I'm sure they have the most generous pictures available....The salt water pool is an extra charge unless you are staying in the towers....There is a giant kiddie/adult pool area up by checkin and a swim up pool bar next to the hamburger bar...The beach also has many wild dogs laying about the seats...warned not to go near them as people have been bitten....they are free to roam
