San Blas is a beautiful archipelago of islands, inhabited sparsely by the autonomous Kuna tribe. Yandup is situation on a small island off a Kuna village in Playon Chico. There are about 12 cabins and one main kitchen on the island. All food is included in the price and every single dish we ate was fantastic (minus the super-salty breakfast...

My husband and I spent 3 nights on Yandup. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff was wonderful, the excursions were all very interesting. A perfect mix of activities and relaxation time. We loved the cabana. It was clean, breezy, and great for hanging out in the hammocks. We thought the food was very good - fresh fish every day....

My friend and I spent several nights on this wonderful island. We flew to Playon Chico airport and were warmly greeted by the Kuna's, then off by boat to Yandup Island. There we stayed in a thatch hut over the water lazing around in our hammocks listening to the waves. The Kauna women were gracious, friendly, warm people who served...

Yandup was paradise when my daughter and I spent two nights last week! We loved relaxing in the hammocks on the deck, listening to the waves beneath our hut, tasting all the fabulous meals! Tour to the Kuna village, farm tour and snorkeling were all great. All of the employees went out of their way to be helpful. It was...

We stayed only for two nights at the Yandup Lodge but it was absolutely great and peaceful. The staff is so friendly, helpful and provides a great service. Each day two optional side programmes are organised, in the morning a boat trip to a beach and in the afternoon a cultural trip. The bungalows are very nice, everything is in...

My family and I stayed at the beautiful Yandup island for 3 nights. The cabins are built in a way that resembles the traditional kuna style, with palm leaves and palm wood, which allows the cool ocean breeze to pass through. We booked 2 cabins by the water and were really happy with that choice because those are the ones...

I stayed with a friend for 3 nights at this gorgeous lodge. The service was impecable and the scenary magnificent. December is a perfect month in terms of no mosquitoes, cool breeze, warm water. The owners and their children are as beautifull as their property. Will not hesitate to reccomend it to family and virtual friends. M

Absolutely FANTASTIC. The food was great, excursions were interesting, and the entire setting was beautiful and romantic. We spent two nights there, but wished we had stayed longer. There weren't many bugs at ALL. Instead, we had tiny lizards in our room, which was very cute. If we left out snacks, or even empty beer cans, the little lizards would...

This is my first review on Trip Advisor. I trusted the previous reviews and booked a 4 night stay at Yandup Lodge with my husband. Lucky us! Most guests stayed for 2 or 3 nights and we were glad we stayed 4. The other guests were very friendly and we had great conversations. The staff at Yandup is very attentive...
