Upon arrival, I wasn't super impressed by the looks of ollanta inn. However, this completely changed once I talked to and got to know the host, Gonzalo. He was so welcoming, friendly & helpful and made me feel so comfortable. He gave several great recommendations and was very accommodating to any of our needs. There was a good wifi connection...

I stayed two nights in this hostel, Gonzalo was very kind and helpful, The hostel is small but clean, good hot water and wi fi. I think it is worth the price. The plus could be the location to the supermarkert which is just in front of the hostel and makes easy everything.

Gonzalo runs the entire place himself. He was so helpful and recommended nice places to eat. It felt like being home. Very quiet hostel. My room was neat and clean. I had the double bed private room. It had one locker inside big enough to fit my huge pack maybe even 2. (I did not find out if the other...

We enjoyed our two night stay. We were emailed directly after booking on hostel site, with Gonzalo introducing himself and asking if we needed him to arrange transfers. Nice touch. Wifi mostly really good in room, shower really hot, warm comfy bed, good location. Gonzalo arranged tours and taxis for us.

Stayed in a twin bedroom ensuite for two nights. The location is just off of one of the main roads Avenida los Incas and it only took around 8 mins to get here from the terminal of Cruz del Sur. We got a nice little introduction from the receptionist and a map of Puno with a few restaurant recommendations. Unfortunately...

Would not recommend this place. It was FREEZING constantly, the bathroom was mouldy, there was no hot water, no towels or toilet roll provided, the lock on our door did not work, and the owner was often no where to be found. Can get something better for a similar price.

Gave this 3 stars because the owner was helpful with information about the city and was good with answering tour questions. But accommodation-wise it wasn't what we expected from reading reviews on here at all! It sounds from reviews that it's a basic, quiet hostel, which is all we expected. It's cheap, yes, and bed was clean with hot water...

The hotel is kinda old, but everything you need is there. So if you are just trying to find a place to spend the night, it would be recommended. The price is cheap, and not that expensive. The only downside is that the owner seems to be absent at most time. I had trouble going into the hotel because the...
