We had a great time there! We ordered Waka, Pisco Punch, and Pisco Aloha. Winston, the waiter, was super friendly and helpful. And the cocktails were amazing. Fresia, the bartender, did a great job with the beverages and the meals were also delicious. Totally recommended!

I look forward to visiting Trujillo and staying at the Cosa de Sol Centro. The staff is so welcoming, they always remember me when I visit, are very friendly and professional. Jose O'Bando and Winston always have smiles on their faces and are ready to assist at the front desk and restaurant, which I truly appreciate. The architecture of this location is a historic Colonial-style, rooms are very clean and the hotel restaurant Paprika is excellent. I stay here approximately every 2 months and highly recommend this location and its staff!

At the bar, Freshi was a welcoming bartender who took her time to tell me about the delicious drinks at the bar and what Trujillo has to offer. She was very sweet! I got a welcome drink, courtesy of the hotel at check-in. Highly recommend! Good ingredients too.

My Mother and I had the pleasure of staying three nights at the Trujillo Costa Del Sol while touring to the nearby museums and temples. We found the staff to be absolutely top notch, whether it be answering questions, giving advice for sights to see, or just having a quick friendly chat in the morning. Specifically, Gretta at the front desk was always friendly and accommodating (the other lady at the front desk was also wonderful, but I didn't get her name). The location is right next to the main square, and is close to restaurants, money exchanges, laundry, and all other kinds of shops. We're looking forward to our next chance to stay!

Would book again, definitely. Our room was very comfortable, bed, bathroom, minibar and fridge. Everything worked well in the room. It was not a particularly large room, but it worked for us. Not too cramped either. The common areas were elegant, clean, very pleasant. We have compliments to give to restaurant staff. But the barman needs a serious interview, from the management. He is not happy in his job, and it is felt by customers. That should be addressed, as not good for business. But otherwise, I look forward to our next stay. Located in the central historic plaza of Trujillo, with other stunning colonial buildings all around.

Outstanding Hotel. Location exceptional. Very charming colonial architecture and atmosphere. Bed very comfortable. Bathroom very nice and functional. Everything very clean. Breakfast is a beauty. Perfect. Only flaw was related to the " welcome drink ticket" that guests receive at check in. I presented it at the bar. The barman was very visibly not happy to be handed that ticket. He remarked, in a belittling way, that this is only for mineral water or lemonade. I requested a lemonade. After 45 minutes of waiting, with only 2 other customers in the bar, I decided to leave. That man in not happy. That was very unfortunate, because everything else about my stay was really memorably good. I guess, next time, I will just not go to the bar.

Our time at the Costa Del Sol hotel in Trujillo, Peru was truly exceptional. My family and I had a wonderful experience here. The front desk staff displayed friendliness throughout our entire stay, going above and beyond to ensure that our time there was unforgettable. My husband and I originally met at the church across the street, and in honor of our first date, our hotel provided us a unique suite. The hotel grounds were consistently maintained with utmost care. We had the most delightful dining experience, all thanks to our newfound friend Winston. Thank you ever so much! Without a doubt, we shall eagerly return to this splendid hotel for our next trip. The room was comfortable, quiet and had a great shower, the restaurant (apparently one of the best in Trujillo) was also great. We had only a two night stay there but I would definitely come back. The staff was nice and accommodating but the best person by far was the masseuse. I had a bad backache after my first day and she made time for me. It was one of the best massages I’ve ever had and it really made my back feel better for the remaining 11 days of my trip!

I stayed for a little over 2 weeks to be with family. I love this location because it is very close to my family's house and to downtown. You can walk to restaurants and shopping. Love seeing la Plaza de Armas and the beautiful Cathedral. The most important is the wonderful people that work in here. Everyone is very pleasant and accommodating. We were here for a couple of nights earlier this week. Public areas are fine; good condition, clean, organized. Rooms need work. Bathroom fan was loud, door would not stay open , old fashioned shower and curtain, furniture chipped. The one morning we had breakfast it was okay, nothing special. Service was slow and tables remained dirty for extended periods of time. Espresso was extra; 33 soles for two doubles is way beyond EU or US price. Really. Bar was nice, enjoyable time with one exception. We went in and requested as ‘suggested by front desk’ 2 bottles each. We only had one coupon and if we handed it in first night what would happen on second evening. Drank two with our wine and after paying requested a third bottle. We explained our logic and the tall guy (non service oriented) did not agree. We left 15 minutes later can you believe he knocks on our room door demanding payment and had his credit card machine in hand. Unreal and sad. This morning we were told we could get coffee at 630AM. NOPE. One gal was setting up, that was it. No Java, no water. Really sad as we have always found Peruvians service oriented. Not here. Do we get credits for no water, leaving before breakfast? Sad but in our opinion not the way to treat and serve guests.…
