The location is good. Walking distance to fuente n many restaurants around. Its a pension house. It's old, good for short stay. They provide free plated breakfast but only 1 choice available, which is 1 hotdog, 1 hardboiled egg, 1 scoop of rice n 3in1 coffee. Free wifi in lobby, aircon is cold, hot in cold shower, limited channel TV, free toiletries, they clean the room everyday. But no free drinking water. Staff were courteous. It's cheaper if u booked online.

I book tru agoda.com IN this pensionne for my 11 staffs to stay while taking their board exams IN cebu. at first the front desk name marichel seems very pleasant and accomodating to speak with, but after we register to check in then problems start to arise. if you plan to stay here pls look for some other place to stay since this is a bogus hotel, when you check in they will not tell you what they will extra charge but after you register they will keep on calling you and let you pay 900 for early check in without any issuance of official receipts from thew bir. and also if you look for a van service even if you dont avail it they will insist you will pay for it. The manager irene ty seems to be an arrogant manager without any consideration to hotel guest insisted that you pay her all the bogus charges. i want to file complaints to department of trade & industry about this kind Of modus operandi so other people will not be victimized by this establishment. and also i want to call the attention of the commisioner of bureau of internal revenue re: their non issuance of official receipts upon paymt, only did they issue receipts after i lodged my complaint to them. I hope that responsible gov't agencies will look into this matter right away to avoid further victims of their modus operandi. to all people who wish to stay here, please beware and stay some place safer and honest. not to mention that rooms are very dirty. too many cockroaches and bathrooms stinks. bed has big bugs as big as a popcorn!!!!

From Bantayan, we went back to Cebu and stayed here for a day since our flight was early in the morning. Upon checking in, we didnt felt welcomed. i am used to travelling and i can personally say that they are not hospitable. I know Filipino are known for being hospitable. When we entered, no one greeted us with good morning or even said hello. The receptionist that time wasnt that accomodating as well. Our room was on the 3rd floor, and no one was there to help us. Good thing there was a woman, i am not sure if she's the owner but i think her clinic was there on the first floor. She told us - please leave your bags and there will be someone who will take the bags for you. So i didnt mind this at first.

When we went out for a late lunch, it was raining, we asked the guard if we can borrow an umbrella, he told us, its not allowed by the owner. So its okay, its their policy.

The most terrible experience i had was when we want to ask the guard for a cab for our dinner. It was still raining, he told us he cannot get us a cab, he only take calls. So we asked again the receptionist, this was a different set of guard and receptionist. So she called someone who can get us a cab. And then, the boy went back telling that the GUARD TOLD HIM THAT WE ARE NOT CHECKED IN SO HE WILL NOT GET US A CAB??? what the F. First of all, they treat people like this, so if they are not guests, they wouldnt get a cab for them?

Is this how they treat guests?

I will not recommend this hotel. But if you dont mind the people, then you can stay here since its convenient, but personally, there are other hotels/inns nearby.

If you ever want a great fantastic place close to most things in cebu and no more than 10 minutes away from Fuentes circle and restaurants and bars .
Pacific pension house is what you are looking for and Super Friendly people
( Staff ) and Breakfast ok it is basic but filling and clean very Clean rooms this is where you really should be looking to put your head down on the pillow.
Now I am going to say 40 peso for a cup of coffee is a little bit more than it should be 1st cup is Free after that it is 40 peso .
And TV and all the available channels Great .
Now my wife and I & our kids are over on another island away from Cebu but we don't hesitate going to Pacific pension house and Rates are great as well..
Yep without a doubt in my mind.
This is a great place to stay when in Cebu

The pictures in the website is not true. In reality, it is so ugly and dirty. The toilet bowl does not even flush, no garbage can. Aircon not functioning well and so is the phone. The TV in the picture is 21 inches but instead you get only 14 inches. The staff are arrogant that they wont listen to customer.

Over priced, dirty rooms; the shower was broken, the bed was uncomfortable and the tv was unwatchable. Wifi in the room is expensive and slow, no strong box and the window latch was broken with a ledge outside so we felt unsafe and slept badly. Staff are unhelpful and rude. A/C was very old and noisy too.

A nice place to stay located at the heart of the city, very near to the malls (Robinsons Malls), just a ride away to SM and Ayala, Foodchains that are open 24 hours, The Crown Regency, and some restobars, and night out spots (The Mango Square).

The place is quite nice, they offer an affordable and safe accommodation, they have their own resto at the entrance, the reception staffs are friendly, they have a lounge area for visitors.
The hotel is a few meters away from the main street, so... you can sleep in comfort without the annoying noise of the traffic outside.

I stayed on one of their non-airconditioned room since all the other air conditioned rooms were fully booked.
The room i got was the lowest on the price list but its worth it. The room was spacious for a single accommodation, it could actually accommodate 3 persons since it was a double bunk bed (as shown on the pic i uploaded). The comfort room and bath was clean and simple, the tv was old and unfortunately doesn't have a remote control, cabinets are also old but will do for the price I payed, shower and faucets got good water pressure, and yeah all the doors are keyless or card access. They also offer wi-fi but unfortunately its not free. Well, overall the place is nice and clean, staff are friendly, location is good, and the rates are affordable.

I have stayed at this hotel almost every year for the past nine years. My last 2 visits were a problem because they no longer clean the room if you stay for a second or more nights. The front desk told me that they only clean 'on request', so I did request before I left the hotel in the morning, for the day. On my return at 10 p.m.the room had not been cleaned and there were no cleaning staff on duty at that time of night. I did manage to get dry towels after pressing the front desk. Fortunately there are many other Pension Houses with same or lower rates in the area. I no longer patronise this hotel.

We stayed here because it's very near to Crown Regency Cebu City. I've got four reasons why I don't recommend this pension house:
1. Wifi is not free even if the hotel's website states that the wifi is free.
2. I reserved a month before our travel date to Cebu. When we arrived at the pension, we had to wait for some time for our room to be cleaned.
3. The pictures in their website are not the actual photos of the rooms.
4. Rooms are not at all spacious.

Find better cheap hotels in Cebu City.
