Detailed Reviews
We have booked this hotel for five nights, but arrived early morning on the Sunday on the 13th of December. Was greeted by a very friendly porter and security top marks on them. Was taken up to the lobby where we met Jan the receptionist extremely helpful and very professional lady. Was given our pass keys for the room and told which floor 18. Room was very clean and a nice size, facilities in the room Wi-Fi television hairdryer all good. The staff at this hotel are extremely professional, at the reception area we had Jan and Chen and at night we had angel. The waitering staff are very professional Kurt who is our normal waiter very professional. The location of the hotel could’ve been more central but not far from all the amenities by taxi. Right the only problem with the hotel that we found was the food. The breakfast buffet didn’t exist because of the pandemic that we are in at the moment and the choice of breakfast was limited but not bad. Evening meals on the other hand we found lacking, on our last night my wife and I ordered burger which was cooked from frozen by microwave and extremely tough sent back. Came back the same very disappointed. But on the whole we’ve had a very relaxing time.

5 stars are given on a curve because of One Central’s super affordable price!
This was a nice, clean budget hotel - our least expensive accommodation in the Philippines. We stayed two nights so we could spend a whole day seeing the historical sights of Cebu City.
Room was well appointed with a nice view toward the pier (17th floor). Everything was thoughtfully and functionally considered. The only issue was we had our AC set at like 19 degrees and after a while ice would shoot out of it. Thankfully the floors are tile and not carpet!
EMall is right next door with a supermarket for drinks and food if you need. Plenty of fast food eats, too. We walked to Santo Nino Basilica/Fort Santiago, Casa Gorodo/Yap-Sandiego, and so on. Close to the pier, too, so getting there for our ferry to Tagbilaran was nice and convenient.
Rooftop pool was great for a quick dip and to see Cebu City from above. But! You don’t get extra towels so bring the one you get in your room!
So if you’re in town for the historical sites, this is a great spot. No need to stay by Ayala and pay more.

Cebu City is NOT a holiday trip location, a hudge busy city, with slow traffic, a lot of ugly smelly areas of creepy old houses &shops, next of some local malls. Next of hotel is EMall =Elisabeth Mall & Lhoullier 24h change, but nothing more. The only area we can walk is around Ayala Mall. Ugly 1km walk to Magellan Cross &San Pedro Fort. Modern hotel with shops GF +1st floor, parking, Reception &restaurant at 9th, and rooms over till 19th where they have a small pool! Amazing view! Very clean, heplfull staff, large room, good wifi. No hot water an evening and next day, but we changed the room and was fine. WiFi &phone cut off for 1h orher day.

Where to begin with this hotel....
We visited here on holiday for one night as a stopover before heading off to Bacolod. We booked a premier deluxe room which included 2 double beds and breakfast. As we were sharing a room with my partner's sister. When booking we expected to find two double beds to ensure there was enough space. Instead we received a room with 1 small double bed and a single bed. Definitely not suitable for more than 2 persons as the double barely fit 2 people. We had paid extra for supposedly a larger room, however what we received was the same as a normal double room. I went down to the staff to complain and they preceded to then send a spare bed that had been dusted down from the housekeeping cupboard, leaving us with about 5cm of space to use the side table.
We had to call 3 times to receive our towels/pillows as only 2 of each had been provided despite them knowing there was 3 of us staying in the room.
Following this, my luggage had not been received at from my flight from the UK. All I wanted to do was call the airport to check whether or not my suitcase had landed but they stated that they were unable to call external numbers. Err... what's the point in a phone that can't call external numbers? In a hotel I stayed in Bohol, their customer service was exceptional.
Lastly, where to start with the food at breakfast. Only the omelette chef was helpful. Food was very limited as they ran out of a lot of items.
All in all, would not stay here again. Staff were rude, unhelpful and did not provide a satisfactory stay and very judgemental of all family members. Rating 1/5.

We stayed here for 3 nights and couldn't get out fast enough. We checked in and got a lecture about rules like we were some teenagers staying in a hotel for the first time, we then went to our room, the shower was cold, there is absolutely 0 sound proofing for a place in the middle of the city which made it hard to sleep atall, even with ear plugs. They seem to have an unlimited amount of staff but somehow the food still comes out stone cold? We asked to move room because of the cold shower, we got put in another room where the shower was also cold like they didn't even check it, we didn't request to move again because we figured it's something that spans across the whole hotel. For the price you can find some far better places. It also smells horrific at times around the building, almost making me wretch at one point. Very disappointed. The pool was nice and the only reason it's not a 1 star. Also 2 lifts for the amount of floors is ridiculous, shouldn't have to wait 10 minutes at them, plus one was out of service one morning and we gave up waiting till the second was working again.

Room Tip: Eat at the mall behind the hotel, food is much cheaper and isn't cold.

I had planned a get together with my closest circle of friends before the Christmas Holidays kicks in. I was looking for a place great to chill with my friends and have a great time. This hotel was recommended to me by a friend. So, I immediately contacted their sales and marketing manager. Ms. Ricarte was great, she was polite and is willing to assist. To be honest I was not expecting much as the hotel was located at the downtown of cebu. The day came, and we arrived at the hotel lobby, I was immediately amazed on how the crew greeted me like I was a VVIP guest. I went to the front desk and checked in, the FO was warm, right when we were checking in Ms. Rocarte pops out and accommodated us and even gave us a tour of their convention halls. We had our lunch at the hotel and the food was delish (i recommend you try their pochero and crispy pata). We immediately went to our room, the room was clean. I was satisfied. Fast forward, we headed out to the pool area as we had it booked to be exclusive. Everything was already prepared. Our attendant, Mars was great. He attended to all of our requests, from serving the food, pouring and refilling our drinks, providing us electric fan to taking our group photos. It was a great experience. The food served was also devine. In a nutshell, the food was delish, the place/ambiance was great the guest treat was amazing, and service was magnificent. Would I recommend it? YES!

We stayed here I night on our way to Moalboal and then 2 nights on the way back its so close to the South bus terminal which gets you to Oslob and Moalboal. The hotel is modern and so clean. The rooms are spacious with great views from the 2 separate rooms we had. The first time was on the 17th floor next time 11th floor and it did not make any difference to the great view. The breakfast is properly one of the best I have had, such a huge selection its really something to look forward to. For the price there is nothing to complain about, also the staff are so friendly and polite and its so close to a mall and large supermarket where you can stock up on nibbles and cold beer

The hotel and shops were undergoing renovations, this was only a small inconvenience .
When we stayed there there were guests who were attending a conference and most had left their manners at home. Lifts were often full and very slow.
The roof top pool closed early in the evening and anything ordered took ages to arrive. There were no supplies on hand everything came up in the lift
Due to the full capacity of the hotel we instructed the maids to only tidy our room every other day but to leave the bottled water everyday
The hotel will be better once rhe renovations are completed. the rooms are comfortable but look tired and need refreshing.
The hotel is in a good position and just a short taxi ride to all malls and city attractions.
I stayed with my partner, Stepdaughter and her friend, we had two rooms. I was a good base for our holiday i would stay there again.

I booked 5 days in this hotel and at the reception I waited 30 minutes because a member of staff had to take my luggage so I decided to take it myself.
on entering the room cold shower and weak wifi and no bottled water.
I'm disappointed I won't be back

For bus travel, this hotel is just superb. It's just a short walk from CSBT (Cebu South Bus Terminal). Not only that, but the shortest route is through Elizabeth Mall with air conditioning! Also, Elizabeth Mall has tons of useful shops, including several foreign exchange desks, many food outlets and also a supermarket.
The pool is small, but it's ok. The rooms are decent. Breakfast is great value, only costing a few dollars extra (when booking).
As others have mentioned, only having 2 lifts makes things a bit slow getting in and out at busy times. If you can get a room on the 19th floor, you don't have to change levels to get to the pool.

Buenas!!!
