Mine was a last-minute booking and I was pleasantly surprised when I got there and saw my room, which was big and had aircon. Shared bathroom but right outside my door. Easy walk to JY Mall, restaurants and other amenities. Big verandah and an ideal place for backpackers. Wi-fi too. Owners and staff were super friendly, food was great and...

I booked this hostel with some hesitation because of how it looks on the photo. But when I got to the property, everything was clean. The bathroom and rooms are cleaned everyday. There's free water all the time and coffee is free flowing. For those who do not drink coffee don't worry they also offer free tea. I love how...

When looking for a calm and friendly place to escape the crazy Cebu streets this was the right choice. The hostel is located in a residential area which seemed pretty safe to us but still 15mins walking distance from the main road and small mall. There is a common place outside as well as inside where u can hang out...

Stayed here for a night recently and loved the place. It's a quirky house with lots of bicycle themed furniture & decorations. The owner is very friendly & helpful and a great source of local knowledge especially when it comes to other cool places to visit in the Philippines. Very relaxed atmosphere, free driking water, good location, friendly owner &...

I spent 1 night at bugoy bikers in Cebu city and i think it is a great choice for solo travelers. They offer tea, coffee and water for free and they have an "honesty fridge" where you can get a drink and put the money in the jar yourself. Jens and everyone is extremely helpful for any question on your...

++ I would like to start the review with good things about the accomodation - it can be a good choice for your first night in Cebu. They have some maps and info sheets about the island, ferry schedule, etc and if owner (he is from Germany) is around he is happy to share with you what he knows and...

We spent 3 nights at this really nice house. What we liked the most is that for the first time in so long we felt like we were at home instead of a hostel. It's a nice cozy house, you don't feel you're in a city at all and it's well located, close to shops and restaurants. Jens is the...

We are not bikers. We stayed 2 nights there. Our room had window to living room area whit light curtain. So anyone could see there. Owner was nice but feels like he don't know what he is talking, we asked how often boat go to Bantayan. He told that every hour. When we got to harbour we waited 2 hours...

Hi Guys, Thanks for your review. I am quite a bit surprised, coz the night before you left we were sitting together and I asked you if all was ok and your reply was “A home away from home”. You enjoyed cooking in the kitchen and hanging out in the hammock. Now I read that comment. Here my remarks Yes,...
