Detailed Reviews
What I appreciate most about my staycation at Quest was the excellent service of waiter John B. in the hotel restaurant. Be sure to ask for him if you dine there.
Second thing I like about the hotel was the great location - a short 5minute walk to Ayala Center, and there's a McDonald's just across the street.
The hotel needs to improve on the long queue during breakfast. It usually takes a while. I stayed there for 4 nights and lucky for me, being a solo traveler, it doesn't take me longer than 10 to 15 minutes to wait for a table. (I believe the hotel is a favorite of many travelers, that's why there's always lots of guests.) The choices in buffet breakfast are pretty good.
The Deluxe room size is about average, bed, pillows and bedding quality are pretty good. I would rate overall cleanliness to about 85% and would rate Wifi speed between 80% to 90% (becoz sometimes it gets slower). If you brought a HDMI cable, you could connect your laptop to the TV so you can watch Netflix etc on a bigger screen. But you can't watch Netflix direct from the TV. (I was ready for it, becoz I brought an HDMI. Maintenance helped me connect it.) I feel the hotel is a bit understaffed, becoz when I order room service, it takes around an hour for them to bring it. There are free slippers, but you have to request for it from housekeeping. Lastly, the hotel decor seems a dated, and would be great if they start renovating some parts of it.

Had a great stay at Quest Hotel in end December 2019. Just a 100 meter walk to one of the largest Malls of Philippines, Ayala Mall, the location could not have been better.
The rooms were great – the balcony attached to the rooms overlooking the pool was the icing on the cake. The entire staff from doorman to reception and the people at the Restaurant and Housekeeping staff were extremely passionate about guest comfort and were extremely courteous and helpful. The breakfast buffet was quite elaborate & one was spoilt for choice. I read about not so good wifi in some reviews but there was absolutely no problem with our wifi and it was quite fast.
The best thing I liked was the passion & attitude of the staff. The only one improvement which I would suggest is – during holiday season (end December), the breakfast hall is generally full & some days we had to wait for as long as 20 minutes to get a breakfast table – the management could consider extending breakfast time to 10.30 instead of 10 am. Found replenishment of some items in the breakfast menu a problem if you came after 9 am. Apart from this, everything else was perfect. Will strongly recommend and will stay again whenever in Cebu next.

The staff are very polite and accommodating. Very good breakfast too. But the room was not thoroughly cleaned when we arrived. Some of the desks still have the old guests' things/trash. The toiletries were not complete, had to call the housekeeping and request for it but they delivered it instantly in our room. Also, on the second day i requested for our room to be cleaned, and when we came back. The floor was all wet. I had to mop it with a towel myself since it's very slippery and after they made the room the bidet started leaking, so the bathroom floor was all wet all the time that i had to turn off the trigger for the toilet flash and bidet to stop the leaking. I know if I called they will fix things but we were tired to accommodate another housekeeping. My point is, I hope next time the guest doesnt need to call for toiletries refill or to mop the wet floor, etc.

I reported a significant air condition leak in the room that created a pool of water on my bed, and despite reporting it and being told by staff that someone from maintenance would be advised to attend to it, nobody attended.
After a few hours, one of the staff members called to see if anyone from maintenance had arrived, to which I replied that no one had come to my room. Again, I was reassured that action would be taken. But again, nobody came.
During this time I am sitting in my room waiting for someone to come and wasting my time because staff are not acting to address faulty equipment.
In frustration, I called reception and was told that maintenance work was prioritised, which I find to be an extraordinary response to give to a customer who has been waiting hours for what can also be a safety issue. Secondly, they advised that they were now looking to move me to another room, which was more inconvenience without investigating the problem. Further informing that the room wouldn't be available until the afternoon, so I was left without a bed to lay on. Making me wait for a room to be available is totally unacceptable. It is a clear example of a focus on the hotel rather than the customer which contributed further to my discomfort.
Finally, I wrote to the General Manager via reception after which i eventually spoke to a helpful desk manager who assisted in resolving my issue.
The new room I was sent to had a fault with the bathroom fan, which they repaired on the following day. It also had a blocked bathroom sink which was cleared the following day when I returned to my made up room.
Overall, I would say it was not a pleasant stay because of the disruption and lack of customer care, and that it was primarily maintenance issues let this property down.
The lack of a response from the General Manager to a letter addressed to them highlights the source of their poor customer-centric focus.
I would also like to point out that the rooms are cleaned and a sticker is placed across the door stating "Sanitized," which is supposed to reassure customers of the cleanliness, but I did note that the air-conditioning filters were not cleaned in my room and had a large amount of dust or whatever it was appearing on them. So, it would appear that their cleaning practices require attention too.
Most of the staff were wearing masks. I did note the occasional deviation, e.g. the concierge and pool/bar staff with mask removed or below nose.
On check in I paid 100php to the staff member who took me to my room and asked him to get me 4 small bottles of water, he came back with 3 and said he would come back later with another. He didn’t.
• The pool is nice, but was closed on a number of occasions due to weather (ie lightning concerns)
• Buffet is outstanding
• No English channels on TV
• No assistance with bags into taxi on departure
• Lots of staff standing around ground floor
• Good security
• Comfortable bed
• Expensive dining
• Location for business people and relatively close to a large mall.

I would say that for a quick family vacay on a special Holiday,it was a good choice to spend it in Quest for many reasons. DUE to the advance booking we were able to get a good size room for our family with a balcony and facing all the attractions of the fireworks (New Year's) on a discounted price. THE FOOD is worth mentioning. I mean their beef was super yummy. It was soft and juicy accompanied by a mouth watering butter flavored sauce. I also comment the seafood grilling part;you know that the chef knows best when you can still feel the juiciness of the ocean taste on a well grilled shrimp but not burnt. The waiters were very friendly and accommodating.THEY are polite and anticipates our needs esp. because WE come with an infant. TO TOP IT ALL, social distancing protocols were reinforced by the staff at the pool ( it wasnt perfect) but they did their best.

+1
We booked for one night at Quest Hotel Cebu last June 28. Their lobby is quite inviting with large furniture and cozy vibes. Though it took me 30mins before i was able to check in. As we enter our room, surprisingly the deluxe room is quite huge, it has a big window with city and mountain view and what is best is that you can even get to see their pool outside. Comfy and clean linens and toiletries were provided, what I like about the room is that they have a large toilet and is PWD-friendly. We spent our dinner at the poolside and availed their sumptous but affordable unlimited barbecue dinner and the food was actually great! Their buffet breakfast is served at Puso Bar & resto which has a wide variety of food selection deliciously prepared to jumpstart your day. The main highlight of this hotel is their very courteous, accommodating and friendly staffs - from the guard, front desk officers, housekeeping and most of all, the waiters who were very helpful and hospitable that you do not need to stand and get your food because they themselves will actually approach you and will serve the food and beverages without you asking them to bring. Special mention to the following food servers - Lara, John, Mark, Jeven, Eric & Albert.
I will definitely come back and book again in this hotel in my future business trip in Cebu! Two thumbs up! 👍👍

Well I am very pleased and would love to go back soon.
The place is clean and they really make sure that guests follow Social distancing.
Check in is Fast and the crew provide excellent customer service and are very friendly.
The Room is clean and big compared to other Hotels.
Has a mini fridge. work desk and others. like a safe and has good lighting. Nice Cabinet and lot of spare pillows.
What I liked is they provide masks, disinfectant wipes and spray.
The Restroom is also big with a lot of amenities only downside for me is the toilet which is too close to the wall.. .
The Buffet is delicious and has a lot of selections. Also very affordable.

This is my Day 2 of being quarantined. I love their Junior Suite- spacious, clean and comfortable. The Hotel room and bathroom are all sanitized and I am able to work from home while being quarantined. The internet access is decent. as long as you don't use video chat. There are 2 television sets and the movies available look great. The food is pretty good too and our front desk receptionist named Victor is very helpful. I would suggest they provide a Keurig as a lot of people abroad love their coffee brewed. Over-all, I am very satisfied with their service.

Everyone has a story to tell going through pandemic. Survival was the name of the game in whatever aspect of life one was at, and we were not an exempt. The 360*- turn around of routine was exciting at first but as pandemic progressed, my husband and I felt we want to take a break. It took a very long time to wait for the right time, but it was all worth it.
We stayed at Quest Hotel for 3days and 2nights and the stay was impressive. It did not take us much time to wait for check in. The hotel's brand gesture was very evident wherever you go and it felt heartwarming to see staff looking happy and excited to serve. The hotel room was well sanitized which gives guests that needed peace of mind, linens were fresh and extremely comfortable, and amenities were as expected of its category.
The daily breakfast was something to look forward to as choices were varied, staff were warm and helpful, more than all the felt sense was relaxed.
A Complete Break Indeed!

Hi John, sorry it took this long to answer, not sure about storage of luggage have never had to do it. Gaz.
If the third party booking is needs to be prepaid then you have pay in advance, if the third party cant charge your card so it may called payment upon check inn, you can book a third party by giving only the card details only but the actual payment is upon check inn because they have to swipe or insert the actual card, just to be safe book directly to the hotel website more convinient and less hassle to by any chance you can pay upon check inn also or call hotel directly on website that all thanks
