We booked because of the Cebu Marathon (January 7-9). We were told in advance that the hotel is not yet in full operation. As such no amenities are still available. Great gesture. Their transparency sets our expectation. The hotel was superb. I almost forgot its not yet fully operational. Restaurants were already open. I love their inroom dining, their hi-tech phone and bidet. Their towels are so clean and of high quality. They have bathrobes which are equally superb! The hotel freebies like bathroom kit and condiments are the best as well. Toothbrush are soft. They have shaving kit. We brought some home, including the free slippers. I love that they have a big hair blower. Their pillows and bed made us sleep like a baby. ☺️
Customer service is excellent and delightful!! They provided us an air purifier and they did not charge us of early check in and late check out! Checked in 9am which is supposedly at 3pm, checked out 4pm which is supposedly at 12nn. Thanks to Front Desk lady and gentleman, Gammy and Raj! It saved us not less than Php 5k!
The only cons is it was kind a difficult to book a grab but no need to worry as the hotel offers shuttle service for specified schedules. If shuttle is not available, the hotel can contact a cab for you. The cab drivers they have in contact are very well-mannered.
Hotel location is also perfect for me as it's near SM Seaside, Lantaw and CCLEX.
I would definitely choose this hotel again when I visit Cebu!!! I'm already satisfied even when the amenities are not yet available! I can't imagine the experience when it's already fully operational!
The only regret I had was not being able to take more pictures and videos. Will do this next time.

Very good and attentive service from Ranran. He was very friendly and took our order with a smile. Food arrived very fast and water was refilled without having to request for it. Quality is excellent as expected especially the roasted belly (my favorite).

Booked my birthday celebration here in Fili. Picked the Premier Deluxe: Premiere Deluxe Twin Bed for me and my friends to hangout.
The room was clean, the TV and Telephone greets you with your name on screen. Wifi connection is flawless, which I appreciate.
The beds were crisp and clean with comfortable sheets & pillows, and the light switches were a little bit confusing and took me minutes to black out everything from the light.
There might be some minuscule maintenance issues in the baths. Tub stains, and a bit of dust in the crevice of LED lights. The Toilets are great with warmed bidets
The shower water outlet in the tub didn't function as intended as I know about Hansgrohe bath hardware fixtures, but only the bathtub faucet worked.
A bit baffled that there are no Bath products to use near the bathtub, as the container is affixed in the shower area, so you’ll have to go to the shower area to get yourself some liquid bathing soap and shampoo from the showering room.
The rooms service food was great, but it took over 40 minutes for the food to arrive but I understand that they were making gourmet dishes from scratch so it’s understandable.
Overall as a luxury hotel, the experience wasn’t that bad. And had a great time regardless. Will I come back again? Absolutely.

I visited Cebu for the ABAC and stayed here. Excellent Service from the hotel staff, upon arrival I was given a welcoming drink by a tall pretty lady named Lyn, what caught my attention is her warm and welcoming smile. The orange fizz was refreshing by the way. The room was very spacious, clean and had the amenities needed. Breakfast was delicious and with many choices. The people in the reception were very helpful in checkin and check out. Transaction was smooth. The convention were we held the meetings was very clean and staffs were very quick to replenish water, pencils and paper. Coffee and tea was good and Lyn was there too always smiling and helpful in giving directions to spots. She also recommended Fina restaurant and food was great. The location is great and near shopping centers. Will definitely stay again if im back here in the Philippines.

We stayed 2 nights in this beautiful hotel . We got upgraded in the most beautiful suite facing the seawater , the bathroom is huge, elegant, beds very comfortable we don't want to leave the room , personnels from housekeeping, engineering, reception, buffet assistant very pleasant,accommodating, they all make sure we are comfortable. I give thanks to JAN ALBAO for making our vacation stays most memorable. Thanks to Grant Pestano from cafe who extend his service.

We queued for check-in at 4:15 pm, and our turn ended at 5 pm. We booked 4 rooms and presented the confirmation number of these 4 rooms upon check-in. Not sure why it took them so long to verify. Despite being told our rooms were being cleaned, we had to follow up, and our rooms were only ready around 6 pm. Additionally, we had requested an extra bed for one of the rooms, but upon arrival, it wasn't prepared. We had to call housekeeping, and it took more than 30 minutes for them to set up the extra bed, further contributing to our unsatisfactory experience at Fili Hotel. This first experience at Fili Hotel was disappointing.

It was very bold of us to just walk in the restaurant and think that we could just easily get a seat for 5 on a busy Saturday night in Fili buffet restaurant! That was our mistake, it was for my dad’s birthday celebration and it could have gone really wrong if we didn’t get in the restaurant for we didn’t have a reservation. But luckily, Andrea, was able to find a way to dine us in! Absolutely very accommodating! She showed us around, explained the types of food they have and entertained us! Everyone was literally so kind and welcoming. The staffs, the chiefs, the waiters… everyone! Jp and Juliet served us the most hospitable way anyone could ask for. Talk about the food!!! Oohh my goodness!! Everything we ate was just absolutely delicious!!! Not a single dish we didn’t like! They catered mostly of filipino food which we loved because my husband is Canadian and I wanted to show him how good our food and delicacies are and Fili just described how scrumptious the filipino food are! My husband loved Philippines even more! I was a sucker for mangoes and hipon and I was so surprised they have it!! Lol sutukil style, lechon, street food, all types of seafood you could find in our market, name it! They have it!! Desserts…? oh just a corner filled with sweets and goodness!! You want to make your own halo halo? They have it! Crepe? They have that too and many more!! I expected a 6 star buffet services and they went beyond what I expected! Gosh they even sung and danced for my dad’s birthday! We were very entertained! Definitely we would recommend this place 100% and definitely we would dine back in on our next visit to Cebu! Of course we would not forget to call ahead for reservations next time! 😉 thank you for the wonderful service!

The hotel is part of the Nustar resort in the South Reclamation area which is a few minutes away from all the tourist spots and Cebu’s business district. The rooms are sparkling new and have beautiful views of the Mactan Bridge, the water, downtown, and the hills which all light up nicely at night. The bathrooms are luxurious and all amenities are provided. The most enjoyable part of our stay was the breakfast buffet at the Fili Cafe. Food was delicious and service was top notch. At the time of our visit, the mall, the sauna and spa, and certain areas of Nustar resort were still under construction or not yet operational. I expect it to be a popular destination when the entire Nustar resort is fully operational in 2024. Thumbs up!

We couldn’t be any happier we booked our accommodation and extended our stay at NuStar resort.
All the staff at Fili Hotel were very accommodating, friendly, and helpful from the front desk, to the concierge, to the restaurant and pool attendants, lobby and luggage staff, and housekeeping as well. We were very much pleased with how everyone made sure our stay was first-class.
The impeccable service that Marvin Jan Albao (front desk) gave us is truly commendable and stands out as he was making sure we enjoyed every bit of our stay.
The Resort has a very relaxing ambiance and is the place you want to go back to after long days of touring the city. And it’s the place we’ll be coming back to on our next visit because we know we’ll have top-notch service and experience.

Mott 32 was a superb experience! Every dish we had was very delicious. I love the Xiao long bao and the Iberico pork and the peking duck was as we expected Mott 32 to serve - to its perfection! Lawrence our waiter was very professional and he made sure to make us feel comfortable and satisfied. Love that we also met the chef Vince! Kudos to this chef. Mott 32 restaurant is in a beautiful location too and it must be on everyone's must experience restaurant when in Cebu ! We would love to try the other dishes on their menu and come back soon. We met the manager Ms. Rachel before we left, she was so warm and friendly and we saw how she was very professional too.
