Actually, if it weren't for the very accommodating staff, I would have probably rated Red Planet Cebu a 3. I booked Red Planet online for 3 twin rooms. We were fully paid. When we got there, the rooms weren't ready. It was over 30 minutes when ONE room was cleaned. We were suggested to wait in that 1 room until the other 2 rooms were ready. It was another good wait before the other rooms were good enough for the rest of us to move into. Although I could understand that the objective is for all of us to stay in 1 floor, I certainly hoped it didn't take that much time.
In any case, the rooms were clean enough and the beds were good. The Red Planet app to use to call front desk, etc., was a little struggle because we had 3 seniors occupying the other rooms and they're not really tech-savvy. I had to manage their requests. But good thing, the Red Planet staff were brilliant. They were very courteous and helpful throughout. Kudos to the staff!
PS: The soap mechanism in one of the rooms was broken. We had to request for it to be replaced.
In any case, the rooms were clean enough and the beds were good. The Red Planet app to use to call front desk, etc., was a little struggle because we had 3 seniors occupying the other rooms and they're not really tech-savvy. I had to manage their requests. Simplicity at its best! When traveling to the Philippines our trips have been about what's outside of our room or hotel. That being said, we're also not backpacker, hostel people. Red Planet Cebu provides us the best of both worlds. The price is right. The rooms are just big enough for our needs and comfort. The atmosphere is simple and clean. The access to the digital world is readily available and complimentary computers are even provided in the lobby. The only convenience I would suggest would be refrigerators in the room, but at the same time, not having one creates more awareness on my part to not order or shop for food to my hearts content and be more mindful of waste. Their location is prime to more than enough stores, restaurants, attractions and tourism. In fact the Ayala Mall is exactly five minutes walking distance from their front door. The hospitality is a representation of the Filipino people in general. I have not found anywhere comparable to the service with a smile that I find in the Philippines. My family, which on this trip consists of my Hubby and two youngest teens, are all extremely happy with Red Planet Cebu and will definitely stay here again in the future.

Service was excellent, reception was kind enough to ask me my ETA and unexpectedly responded by having the room ready in advance, Location is absolutely perfect since you are just a walking distance away from key stores, malls, and other facilities such as laboratories(for covid-19 testing), mandaue and sm seaside is even just a 1-3$ taxi ride from the hotel. Price is cheap - affordable. Really nothing to complain if you are just looking for a clean, safe, and convenient spot to stay.

This hotel has a lot of great things going for it. It is VERY CLOSE to Ayala Mall where there is a lot of shopping. It’s across the street from a bus depot. Free parking. Good tv channels. And lots of hot water. Only disappointment was the wifi has terrible speed, but it was free so I suppose I can’t really complain.

Do hope that you maintain the type of services you have rendered to your customer. That was my 2nd time to stay at your hotel but its get even more and more exemplary. Good job. I would like also to acknowledge the staff from the securities, the people behind those groups are very accommodating and very welcoming, they deserve also so much praise and appreciation. Good thing also that I had experience was my room can directly look outside the central business park wherein I can see the beauty and light of magnificent and majestic central business district.

The place has a good location close to the Ayala mall. The palce is clean and staff is good.
On the downside they do not offer any drinking water (wich most other hotels in Cebu that I satyed at did), you can BUY water in the reception.
The AC is really loud, so I turned it off for some time, then I wanted to turn it on again since it got really hot, but it didn't turn on, so I guess it was broken. I was checking out next morning so didn't have the energy to call it in to the reception, but hopefully they would have sent someone to fix it if I called it in.
On the downside they do not offer any drinking water (wich most other hotels in Cebu that I satyed at did), you can BUY water in the reception.

Overall, a very good experience. Room was clean and was always kept clean during our stay. Although, I would suggest it is about time to upgrade on their room appliance and also change their set of towels to a more cleaner and fresh batch.

Unhappy during the stay and I don’t want to booked again in that hotel. The only advantage is the location and the hotel
Room lack of extra amenities.wifi is poor, towel is with dirt marking, no dental kit, no electric kettle or coffee that I can use to boil water and room is very small but is okey but again over all I am unhappy, also the staff in the front desk the guy with eyeglass is unhappy face when you deal with. You ask favor like plastic it will say no. But afterwards the house keeping provided it.no good customer service.

We're satisfied costumer except with our experience of water problem during our stay due to pipe burst in the main pipe. We suggest you to provide telephone for every room for the easy access of the costumer for any inquiry to the lobby. The rest satisfied.

We booked this hotel as my tour guide recommended due to location and never bothered to check the reviews which was totally my bad.
There was an error with a booking. The staffs from Manila branch were more initiative and helpful than from the Cebu branch.
More than a complaint, this is more of a heads up to future travellers who’s considering this hotel prior to their arrival as I believe the hotel is structured to operate the way it does.
If you’re ever in dire situation and only needs bed and pillow to rest your head. Then only you go here. Why? Find below:
1. The corridor of the rooms smells mushy and like an old building right after the lift door opens.
2. There is no basic amenities provided such as basic drinking water, kettle for water, coffee/tea sachet, slipper, wardrobe or suitcase space etc.
3. Rooms are so small that you don’t have any space to keep your luggage. You’ll have to jump around to pass by. This was shocking. When checked with Front office. We were asked if we wanted to shorten the stay instead as all room size are same.
The only good thing about this hotel is security teams are very active, kind, helpful and always with smile to lend extra hand.

A very late reply, but since we are all travelers, we had/will experience arriving at a foreign place at an ungodly hour😉 thus my take on this :
Always reserve beforehand unless you want to spend your time searching for new hotels in the middle of the night,with high fares to get to one hotel to the next.
This hotel is always on high demand because of it's location and low price, the golden rule for travelers✌
