The location was great. We booked 4 twin rooms for 2 nights. High rise hotel with 4 star category but i guess people overrated it. This is super busy during summer season. Lobby is fair clean. Front office team is efficient taking care the check in process.

The room has nothing special feauture. Though this hotel needs a total renovation. Good size bathroom and it looks clean but not spotless. There are things need to be addressed about the maintenance. Shower head needs deep cleaning and the hand shower handle loose. Water pressure was okay. Omg, i was surprised the towels are not decent condition "lagom kaau ug naay stain" and shower curtain too.

We had buffet breakfast and surprisingly not much choices and super crowded place. Would not recommend this place lol

We stayed at the Mandarin Plaza for 3 nights at the end of our trip to Philippines. We booked two rooms and they were on the 16th floor. The views were great and it was very quiet.

Beds were comfortable and the rooms were really clean. A lot of the TV channels were not working so we were limited in what we could watch however the wifi was sufficient and we could utilise our phones for entertainment.

Breakfast was good however a little expensive if it is not included in your room.

We paid an extra 1000php per night for an extra trundle bed and then an extra 50% of the room rate for late checkout of 6pm due to a late airport departure.

The staff were very lovely and accommodating. Location is very close to the Ayala Centre and we walked there in less than 5 minutes.

This is a good option for business trips. Reasonably priced, centrally located in the IT park, big-sized rooms, fast services.

Stayed here several times for business, it never disappoints. The room is spacious and comfortable, clean up is always right on schedule. Rooms are quite from outside noise as well.

Breakfast is decent with substantial food selection, no frills and fuss. Bar and resto has good service and delicious food choices. Hotel has safe parking which is pretty convenient if you have car rental in Cebu.

It has good location in central area and just walking distance from Ayala Mall. Taxis and Grab ride to the airport even during early morning or late nights are accessible.

Checked in for 2 nights. Had a corner room on the 18th floor.

Wifi does not reach the room so really useless.
Toilet bowl does not flush well so had to ring reception at 4am, which took roughly 30 mina for someone to answer, got clogged again at 10 in the morning, had to ring them again.

Location is quite good though.

Rang reception while checked in to extend. Said that there is an available room for 2 nights but would need to pay for it outright as those are sinulog days.

Went down to reception, declined and told me that there is none. I told them I rang less than 5 mins ago and I was told that there is an available room.

Oh come on, be consistent. I know that you are just saving those rooms up so you can offer it at a higher price nearer those dates.

Will definitely not check back in. Worst hotel!!!

The hotel is excellent in cost-effectiveness except for the purpose of staying on the beach.

Located in the heart of Ayala, perfect for mall Shopping and entry and exit. Most hotels in the Philippines are quite expensive for their facilities, but this is affordable and the location is better than other luxury city hotels. There are quite a few luxury hotels in the mountains and downtown, but the Mandarin is also recommended for safety in Cebu City, where taking a taxi is a risk.

Check in time is 12pm, we arrived at 1140am, we requested for early check-in since the time difference is 20 mins. They would allow but would have to pay for the early check in. We told them that we came from a very long flight, and yet, they still demand for a fee, no consideration.

The room was spacious and very comfortable bed and pillows. Hotel lacks essentials such as tissue box, bath robe, shower cap and slippers. Recommended to get higher floor to minimise traffic noise. Breakfast wasn’t great limited variety. Too many Staff standing around during breakfast hours. Would give it 3 star. Good location and close to alaya mall.

The hotel and all their staff are amazing and ready to assist. Easy check in and check out; the guards outside( JunMar and Miller) assisted in getting Taxis whenever I wanted. Good rooms and very safe. It is a walking distance to Ayala Mall .
Only issue is that if you are vegeterian, then Breakfast has almost nothing for you apart from coffee, salads and bread(if you dont mind eggs). I informed the reception and they said they will inform the Chef and I believe that they will work on it.

Hi can you bring guests back to the hotel?
Answer from Patricia P

The hotel has security at the door, however the lobby area and reception is extremely busy, so I do not see any problems with bringing a guest back to the room. I booked the room for one person only, however the bed itself was big enough for two persons. I only had breakfast tokens for one person. So if your guest would like to have a breakfast then an additional charge is made. I hope this answer is of help. The hotel is in a wonderful location with the Ayala Mall in the adjacent street.

Hi, they don't really check who's going up to the rooms. The room is pretty big though, a guest or 2 can certainly be accommodated.

I’ve booked my reservations with Agoda. My room accommodation includes breakfast for 2. Airport shuttle is available if you request it. But i suggest you go with uber or grab car. It would be cheaper.
