This was a quite cheap place to stay with the most spectacular views! Our room (a large suite) had a big balcony with great live music (from the neighbour 5 star hotel) at nights. Our room had a working AC, hot shower, nice beds and fridge - so nothing to complain. There were a few cockroaches around but I guess...

No hot water, very uncomfortable bed, very poor diving, the room and diving services are way overpriced, shower in complete disrepair with mold everywhere, either pay a little extra for something 10 times better or pay less for the same thing

We stayed here for the last 2 days of our vacation due to the convenience of its location to the airport. Our original plan was to either do a day trip to Bohol or stay at the resort and do some snorkeling/diving. Unfortunately, we had gotten into a minor accident a few days prior and were unable to do any...

I loved this place. Nice staff and a good place for snorkeling and diving. The rooms are avarage, so if you are looking for a more high class then check out EGI or J-Park. The place has a lot of diving possibilities with a lot of diving shops. It is also a resturant here that are okey, but maybe a...

We stayed at this hotel to complete our PADI diving course at kontiki divers (not the same company as kontiki marina hotel but just next door). Our bad experiences with this hotel started before we even arrived. Our flight was due into Cebu at around 8 but we were delayed for a couple of hours in Manila. We tried calling...

We stated in the budget option, not the suites but we loved this place; it was very basic, but the room was cleaned everyday, the shower had steaming hot water and the air-con was fantastic. Beds and pillows were comfy, it was extremely close to the dive shop and they give you free amenities, and a new towel everyday. One...

There are three things using the name kontiki here: this "hotel", another hotel, and the dive shop which are all separate. The marina suites are just three apartments in the water. There is no reason to come here unless you want to dive / snorkel all the time. That being said the house reef is very good to dive. The...

Only a one night stay. I chose to stay in mactan to be close to Cebu airport for an early morning flight hoping to avoid the notorious Philippine traffic chaos. It still took 1 hour to get to airport. Contiki seems to be geared up for Japanese tourists. Strict rules on buying contiki food and water. The hotel is shabby...

Do you want to snorkel to all your heart's content. Nothing beats the Kon Tiki in the island of Mactan. It is alive with marine life and the water is clear. It has a small restaurant which serve good food at affordable prices and the clientele is mostly foreign, giving it an atmosphere of being some place away from home....

I flew into Cebu from Manila on Cebu Pacific. There are ATMs and a few shops at Mactan International Airport so make sure you have some local currency as there is no ATM near the resort. You don’t need cash on the resort, everything is charged to the room or your dive account and both accepted Visa. There are abundant...
