We stayed for a night after coming back from our 3 day hiking trip in the cirques. We arrived at 15:45 and had to wait for an hour and 15 minutes until room was ready for us. We did not receive any info at all why it took so long and were just asked to wait. This hotel is located...

Creole-style hotel, lovely environment. small but adequate rooms & bathroom with TV, WiFi, only in some of the rooms, and terrace. Good atmosphere. Five minutes by foot from the astonish lagoon. Well, okay, the room was small, the bathroom was tiny, but was pretty and well arranged like the rest of the hotel. It exudes an indescribable Asian aesthetic and...

Stayed here three nights on and off during longer trip to Reunion. Hotel has pleasant pool and bar, and breakfast is decent enough. Staff are very accommodating and location is good with local eating options plentiful and good local beaches close by. Rooms are small but comfortable- the small bathrooms actually house very good showers and are entirely functional once...

The hotel is set in lovely grounds with a great bar and pool. The pool is a little cool... I know that some people don't like that, but after a day sizzling on the beach it is just what I need. The rooms are modern and very clean, however they are tres tres petite. It's true there is no space...

..but not suitable for families. Rooms are very small but it doesn't matter if you don't spend too much time in the room. Only one very small table and no chair. Cleaning was very effective and the room was daily cleaned and the towels changed. Breakfast (9€) is over prized in my opinion. Stuff at the registration is very nice...

I'm a solo traveller who can't speak French. I spent 4 nights at the hotel. The staff at the hotel speak very little English but went out of their way to be accommodating. If you want to go on an excursion speak to them - they are so helpful. My room was small and clean but you are not there...

The Alamanda hotel is a simple but very charming hotel situated a few blocks from the beach, surrounded by other probably more upscale and more expensive hotels. We stayed here two times. The first time we stayed on the second floor facing the garden and duirng the second stay we got a room with garden front. It is a fact...

The rooms are really tiny but clean and well decorated. Bathroom is so small you have to remove your toiletries when you shower - no place to hide them from the water. Staff is friendly and polite and makes its best effort to communicate in English, although it is not their language of choice. Pool and garden are very nice,...

Yes, the rooms here are truly tiny and minimalist, and I've never seen a smaller toilet-shower space, even when they are squeezed into one like this one is. What were the designers thinking ? The only redeeming aspect was the pool area with landscaped flora, and the fairly friendly service. As long as you're out all day or by the...
