Highly recommend this hotel for travelers wanting something central, but not too expensive. Easy to reach from SVO via the AeroExpress and metro, 17 minutes (at most) to Red Square, 10 minutes to Teatral'naya metro, walking distance to the Pushkin, Kremlin, etc. Rooms are large, nicely decorated, and immaculate, with ample closet space, TV, and minibar. Bathrooms are large with...

We stayed here for 3 nights and found it to be very comfortable. It is in a nice street within a 5-10min walk to Balshoy, Red Square, Kremlin etc so it was an excellent location. The hotel breakfast is adequate with plenty of selections, the dining room does get crowded at times. The rooms are a good size, with the...

Stayed here 3 nights. Location is great. Close to Red Square and many restaurants. The room was nice with opening windows and a comfy bed. The bathroom was spacious with a bath and old fashioned bath plug that worked. Staff were nice and polite. Breakfast was average. Enough choice of food though and good quality. Coffee soso. We had a...

Excellent location with plenty restaurants and sightseeing around. But room was not perfect, with inadmissible dirty carpet and special constraction of the bed footboard, to break the legs of guests. We had to constract a pillow protection to pass freely:))

The best thing about this hotel is its location. Nested amongst designer shops and situated close to Red Square, it is very convenient and a good area. Need earplugs if you are a light sleeper (as there is a nearby night club). Otherwise, recommend it. Wonderful splash out meal at Brasserie

We have a great time at this hotel - its very 'Soviet/Russian' looking in décor. Staff were lovely, service was great and location was fantastic. Yes the décor is a little dated but this adds to its charm even more. Rooms were big and clean. Only down side is I asked for a twin and they have gave me double.

The hotel is quite out dated, but still has an old Russian charm. Nevertheless the prices are good for the very central location of the hotel. Rooms are out dated and too hot, but quiet and satisfying.

Staying in Tverskaya

Neighbourhood Profile
Tverskaya
Tverskaya can’t be discovered with just a first glance, the neighborhood is shaped around a long street populated with well-known shops and brands. But it’s more than shopping that makes this place interesting. Take a few steps into the streets running parallel to the main artery to discover the charm just behind the mighty Stalinist style architecture. Comfy European pedestrian streets Bolshaya Dmitrovka or Stoleshnikov lane are a great place to start. Locals can be found here working, eating, shopping, resting and going to the Bolshoi Theatre in the evening.
