It was my second visit to Moscow and this time I did decide for 'something local' instead of a place belonging to a big chain. It was worthy. What a charming place and location! Great rooms, very clean, helpful staff, local hospitality. Breakfast was full of good choices and excellent. Two blocks from the metro station. I definitely recommend it.

Great central location close to Bolshoi Theater and famuos Red Square. The night club under hotel may be disturbing duebto high volume at night.Room was clean and tidy however a bit small.Breakfast is moderate which prepared per guest by house keepers.

We stayed here for 7 nights. The room was a bit tight for 3 people as we had the sofa bed opened at all times, but we were on vacation and not entertaining. For sleeping and the time we spent in the room, it was great. The daily breakfast that was included offered quite a variety of items to choose....

You can’t ask for a better hotel location in the center of Moscow. This old hotel is located on a pedestrian side street, back of the Bolshoi Theater. The entrance for the hotel is very narrow and the lobby is small. But once you get to the second floor, the celings are higher and there is more space. It is...

The hotel is in a good location just behind Bolshoi Theatre and on a pedestrian street with many restaurants/ cafes around. It is also within 10 mins walk to Red Square. I booked directly with the hotel and breakfast is included in the room rate. One thing to note: Although I specifically booked a superior room and this is stated...

Located in the centre of moscow, you can reach the red square in 5 minutes by walking. Restaurant and Club are close to you. Aboout restaurant: Lafka Lafka and Korchma Taras Bulba Breakfast is normal and there's a good selection of products. My room was at the second floor and on the street, but it wasn't noisy

Ok: - Nice staff - Great location full of bars, restaurants close to the red square and bolshoy theatre - the breacfast is quite modes, but the most important things were there (coffee, eggs, ham, bacon and so on) - the interior of the room is nice, big shower, the bed could be small for two, i guess it was...

Located right behind the Bolshoi theatre, and 10 minute walk to Red square. Hotel is exactly as it says on it's website, staff speak good english. Dozens of resturants all around this location. The nightclub below is gone now, so no noticable noise in the evenings. (My room was 2nd floor facing the street). Metro station is a 5 min...

The hotel itself is fairly good - brilliant location, good facilities and breakfast. Despite all this I would never stay here again and would advise others against it, purely down to the noise from the terrible nightclub next door. For two out of the three nights the throb of the bass and the noise of the music went on until...

Staying in Tverskaya

Neighbourhood Profile
Tverskaya can’t be discovered with just a first glance, the neighborhood is shaped around a long street populated with well-known shops and brands. But it’s more than shopping that makes this place interesting. Take a few steps into the streets running parallel to the main artery to discover the charm just behind the mighty Stalinist style architecture. Comfy European pedestrian streets Bolshaya Dmitrovka or Stoleshnikov lane are a great place to start. Locals can be found here working, eating, shopping, resting and going to the Bolshoi Theatre in the evening.
