There are not so many hotel options in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky and the hotels are rather overpriced (but everything is more expensive here than the 'continental' Russia). So I believe this hotel offers a good quality for the price. During my five trips to Kamchatka I stayed in 4 hotels and 2 apartments. I stayed one night in Petropavlovsk hotel and the...

We stayed in two hotels in Petropavlovsk. This one and the Avacha. The hotel is Ok, basic, cleaning average, service as well. Keep track of the towels - they count towels before you leave. Breakfast OK, close by the restaurant San Marino, good for dining, the city centre pretty far away but not that you will go there for a...

Stayed here 4 nights as part of a guided trip to Kamchatka. Comfortable stay. Free wifi. Pleasant restaurant/café to hang out and chat to random other visitors. Front desk and restaurant staff friendly and spoke decent English.

It was a Soviet style building and the room was quite simple, in the meanwhile it got a nice restaurant which offered very good breakfast. Actually it had an excellent chef, who made the food as good as the professional restaurants we have experienced in Kamchatka, so we had 2 lunches and 1 dinner there too. The receiption of the hotel...

Its close to a seafood market - which is good to buy some crab and fish as a presents. the thing i liked - breakfast -...

The city has been constructed on varying flood planes surrounding the deepest port and busiest port in the Russian Far East. It has a 300 year history since discovery including the sacrifice of 300 military cadets to an attempted British invasion during the Crimean War. The city has been accessible to visitors, even Russian, since 1995 or so, due to...

From the outside, not a stunner. Boxy, hospital-like look. But the interior is welcoming enough. Free wifi in the hotel areas. The room we got was thoughtfully refurbished - clean and firm beds, and built-in wardrobe space that doesn't take up more room. Hot shower water readily obtained. Breakfast that came with the room was unexpectedly good - we had...

I stayed here for one night only but I would certainly stay here again. The hotel is about 25 minutes from the airport and the location is not particularly attractive. However, the hotel is clean and the staff are very welcoming. The room was comfortable and well presented but low cloud and rain obscured views of the volcano. The lounge...

When you go to Kamchatka, you know you are on the edge of the civilized world. This hotel is simple but safe, clean and has all the basic services you need with a pretty good breakfast. Wifi connection is available and within walking distance (10-15min) you have several restaurants. Keeping in mind all of that, this is a good place....
