One of the great hotels of Europe, lavish service, ornately decorated and a pleasure to stay in. I had a huge comfortable bed , a good desk to work at, a small sitting area and good English language TV, what more can you ask. Breakfast buffet was in the Azia, so I missed the spectacular architecture of the Europa restaurant...

We just returned yesterday from an 8 day stay in remarkable St. Petersburg. We chose to spend this landmark vacation in a hotel that captures the exquisite grandeur of classic Russia so we booked through whatahotel.com, a company that specializes in signature luxury hotels around the world and offers wonderful perks such as upgrades, daily breakfast, and gratis dinners on...

Try as I may, I simply cannot find a fault!! The location is spot on in the middle of the city, on the famous Nevsky Prospekt; staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, nothing ever is a problem or an issue; the breakfast is the best I've had (yes, it even gives The Dorchester a run for its money). The rooms...

Popped in for a quick lunch to the mezzanine cafe. Grand setting, friendly helpful staff. 4 of us ate, burger and fries, stroganoff erc , one course each, water and cokes. Came in at a wopping £120. Good but not cheap, even if in one of the best hotels

I have paid WAY more for a hotel in NYC that wasn't half as nice as this. Check the rates, you'll be really surprised! This hotel is very nice. The front desk ladies were super friendly. The rooms were fancy but cozy and the bathroom floor was heated! A xeroxed copy of an international newspaper came delivered in its own...

One of the great things about Hotel Europe is its location. Steps away from Hermitage museum, and on Nevsky Prospect, it is an invitation to walk around the beautiful city of Sant Petersburg. Food is excellent in any of its restaurants and bars, although you should never expect a quick service... good things need time, so be patient. The atmosphere...

St Petersburg, caviar and vodka was top of our bucket list and the Belmond hotel deliver above and beyond our wildest expectation. Starting from the booking and the great help in getting our visa, through the amazing welcome from the staff and beautiful bedroom to the cherry on the top of cake with the diner in the Europe restaurant with...

The hotel is centrally situated and within walking distance of all the main historic sites/museums and shops/restaurant. We stayed over the Christmas period and the hotel was beautifully decorated. It is indeed a sensitively restored, historic building with lovely communal/public areas. However we were disappointed with our room which was small and faced an interior courtyard. As a result it...

We chose the Grand Hotel Europe hotel on recommendation of friends, who have visited the hotel last year. The accommodation and breakfast was included in the British Airways holidays city break package. The hotel is situated in a very good central location. On our arrival we were greeted in the reception and accompanied to our room. The heating in the...

This is one of the best Hotels we have ever stayed in. Our Room was on the third floor looking out to the main street. It was a beautiful room, couldn't fault a thing and the bathroom was also fantastic! The location is excellent, close to everything. Strongly recommend the the Belmond Grand!
