The hotel is quite near to the men's entrance and Gate no 5 of masjid al Nabawi. Please be aware that the women's entrance is quite a distance... brisk walking about 15-20 minutes, longer if you have a slow walker or elderly person with you.

This hotel is very basic, wifi only works in the lobby, cleaning service comes only when requested, if at all. Breakfast is very limited (we often skipped breakfast) with no variety, the same things everyday.

Good budget hotel, not luxury.

Not the standard i expected from Ramada. It was only just average. Rooms weren't even ready so gave some different room. The staff weren't the brightest around either. The location is right next to the mosque...though after being there i would of preferred the opposite side as that's where all the good shops etc are.

Overall...average hotel....just about!!

In room there is no guest amenities like, dental kits, Vanity kit, hand towels, shower cap, body lotion, when I called to reception for these things they didn't understand because they speak only Arabic language. Housekeeping staff is pathetic, I asked to clean my room and change all bed sheets they comes and take only garbage from bin and recycled old bed sheets. Even they did not changed used bath towels. Sleeping Beds was extremely uncomfortable, only 1 pillow on beds even I asked extra pillow they send only 1.
On thursday I asked for iron and iron stand reception staff was not able to understand what I'm asking, after 3 hours they send a Bangali housekeeping staff for exactly what I'm asking, when he comes he said sir our iron is out of order please go to out side for 2kilometers for ironing we cant help u in this regard (waooooooo Amazing) what an amazing answer.

Need to be improved hotel facilities and need staff training properly specially for English language because they are doing business in international state from around the globe people comes from different languages and English is a very common language. They should know atleast.

My overall experience was really bad.

This hotel is situated on the qibla side of the haram. It is easy for the men to get to the haram but for the women they have to walk all the way to the back of the haram (women's entrance). I stayed here for my hajj and Allhamdullilah I don't have anything to complain about but rather be grateful to Allaah he granted us invitation to the holy land out of the millions of Muslims.

The hotel has wifi and has decent speed of any general things u may need to do. Rooms were good size bedrooms for 4 person as they are originally for 2 person, it had fridge and tv, shower and bath tub. The hotel was clean and tidy, good AC etc. breakfast and dinner were good even at this busy hajj period. You will be spoilt for choice!

I would stay there again for my future umrah or hajj insha Allaah if I return. My main advice to you will be prepared for hajj and know why your there and why your doing this ibadah. That should and must be your main focus point, I pray that Allaah accepts your hajj/umrah. Please please keep me in ur dua by name!! Jazakallaah khair

Not a good choice. Hotel, although very close to the mosque but is towards qibla side, which is far far away from ladies gate, which is on the other side.

Staff can hardly understand English and was least courteous, if not rude.

Room and bathroom fixtures were in bad shape. Even the A/C was not properly working. I made booking for three beds, but when I went there, the receptionist told me that they dont have any room with three beds :(

They have very limited parking available and it was occupied all the time, I stayed there although it was non peak season.

Hi,

The hotel is well situated. My room was very big. There was a double bed in the master bedroom and 2 single beds in the living room together with a sofa and small table. The room was clean and very comfortable. The lounge on the ground floor was nice and is used for waiting or relaxing. There is a fast food outside which is open nearly 24/7 and many small shops that are open till late. Located opposite to Gate 5 of Masjid Nabawi. 1-2 minutes walks only. Just cross the road and you are in. Breakfast is ok even though they can do much better. Not too many choice regarding food in the surrounding. Have to walk 10-15minutes to get more choices.
Wifi wasn’t working for few days in the hotel and is available only in the lounge. Overall a good experience. The staffs are very helpful.

Do not stay here if you have imagination of Ramada ( UK , USA quality etc ) .
Very purely maintained very very old fashioned .
Only positive is it’s close to the men’s section

I came at night 3AM, i had already done the booking plus payment. Also I had marked the time of my arrival but when I reached tired they told me I had no booking and hotel is full. The receptionist didn't entertain me one bit, after fighting for long he finally gave me a room which means the hotel was not full.Horrible. Plus old building.

The Good:
- The only good point is the location. The hotel is across the street from Gate number 5 of the Prophet's Masjid. However, The ladies prayer area is very far from this hotel.

The Bad:
- The only thing Ramada about this hotel is the sign on the building. There is nothing else Ramada about this hotel, so don't let the name fool you.
- Check in experience was poor. The guy at the front desk told us to wait for no reason while he sat idle staring outside while I, my wife, two kids and my mom stood there waiting. When he was done, he said okay and started processing our check-in.
- There is no in-room wifi. Public wifi available in the small, overcrowded lobby floor.
- There is no housekeeping. If you want your room cleaned, you need to tell them a couple of times and they will send someone. The guy who shows up will ask you what exactly you want him to clean. "Clean everything" is not an answer he is expecting.
- Once they changed our bedsheets and they were dirty with very large dark grey/black patches. I can't imagine how the guy changed the sheets and walked away after seeing those filthy patches. See pictures below.
- Bathrooms were dirty and the floor hasn't been scrubbed for ages.
- Water in the faucets weren't having much pressure.
- Bathroom amenities were cheap Chinese items, not consistent with Ramada brand.
- Bath tub possibly had a leak which they patched and it looked filthy.
- We asked for non-smoking rooms and the room we got was a smoking one.

There are many other hotels in the same area at similar rates. Don't waste your money on this one. The Ramada brand should consider revoking their agreement with this property as it is a disgrace to the brand itself.
