Wada hostel is the BEST. Can not recommend this hostel enough.... If you are planning a trip to Guilin this is the place to stay. Staff were extremely helpful and pleasant. They are very willing to help out in anyway to make your stay memorable. The dumpling making was fun that is put on by the hostel. They helped us...

This hostel was just terrific. The service was great, the rooms comfy, the common room was lively, and the food was simply outstanding! Definitely recommended, even if it is a little far from the center of town. Really **GREAT** value for our money!

The most amazing, helpful and patient staff! We came as a group of four girls and you let us stay in the hostel lounge area/cinema room (yes they had a movie room!!) when we had to catch a train at 3.am. Amazing food, range of western and chinese, yummy breakfasts, all reasonably priced, and staff helped us book lots of...

Thee staff of the hostel is really friendly and helpfull... The rooms are small but okay, the only thing is that de hostel is a bit far from the centre. They have free bussen riding, but not really handy.

I spent a weekend at Wada. It's kind-of the ideal hostel. The staff is super-helpful, will help you arrange local tours (at great prices), and also cooks. The Wada bar features some of the freshest Western food I've had in China; beautiful omlettes, fresh Kale juice, and hearty English breakfast. All of these are reasonably priced and come quickly out...

After 3 months of traveling non-stop in China, Wada was our favorite hostel. I sprained my ankle shortly before we arrived, and the Wada staff was so caring and helpful. They gave me ice when needed. Everyone spoke excellent English and for the first time we felt like we could ask literally any question and be completely understood and completely...

Wada hostel in Guilin and the sister hostel in Yangshuo are by far the best hostels I stayed in China. The staff was super friendly and helpful and speaks English fluently. We had to cancel on night on a very short notice due to train delay and they didn't charge us for the cancellation. When we left, they spontaneously arranged...

I stayed at both Wada Hostels (Guilin and the DT Yangshuo) for a total of 5 days. The staff were extremely helpful, kind and so cheerful in both places. The food at the hostel with a full western menu was pretty good too - I particularly enjoyed the avocado pasta. The dorm rooms had the beds attached to the wall...
