Stayed for three nights, had lots of fun, the dumpling party was great fun. All the Wada girls speak perfect English and are extremely helpful, they will help you with anything you need with great tips and advice. Also they are very nice and kind. This makes your stay much nicer. So recommended, also the rooms are very comfortable and...

It's a hostel, it's behind a main street, at first glance it looks seedy. But once you're in you meet the Wada girls and then you feel at home. Free computer access/wifi. Excellent coffee. Great staff. Rooms are very basic, and all you need; bed, a/c, toilet, sink, shower with no curtain or tub. plenty of toilet paper. They will hook...

I stayed at Wada for 3 nights while I explored Guilin. Let me tell you. The Wada girls were exceptionally great. They took the time to get to know your name and went above and beyond what was required to make your stay here a memorable one. This was definitely by far the best place that I stayed while in...

Amazing hostel - one of my favorite things was all the use of space. There are plenty of comfortable couches and seatings in the eating area, plus a reading room and a sitting room in side wings. On the other side is an outdoors patio with benches and rockers. Pretty awesome! I only had the banana muffin here - yes,...

I think that It's one of the best hostels I have been staying at in China. Rooms are clean comfortable and have enough space. The bar and restaurant is great, by its prices and delicious dishes. The common area is wide, equipped with everything you need (pool table, sofas, book area, movies area...) But the most important is the hospitality!...

We stayed there twice and we really liked it. The rooms are tiny and old, and so is the bathroom, but it's very clean. The best of this hostel is the lobby /main area. There are a lot of travelers and the atmosphere is nice. They also have really good food there and the prices are OK. On Friday there is...

Monica and the Wada girls were fantastic hosts! They made out stay very comfortable. The dorms are new, very spacious and clean. The Monday night dumplings were delish! One negative would be that the food at the hostel is a little overpriced, but the Wada girls are great for pointing out food options. Overall we had a great time and...

Wada does basically everything well. The hostel is clean, comfortable, inexpensive, and has extremely friendly and knowledgable staff. The food is good although a little bit pricy, but it is often western style meaning the ingredients may be harder to get in China. Easy to make friends with the other guests as there is an open concept lounge area that...

The ladies here at the guilin wada hostel were soooo helpful. Literally hooked the boys up with everything, got us discounts on future travel plans ie: trains, buses. They are all very friendly and pleasant. Food is amazing and prices are quite fair. Rooms are very nice and again very well priced.

Great hostel. Large comfy rooms, beds and showers. Good food and drinks in a comfy lounge, with separate reading and games rooms and even a few guitars. And the Wada Girls are the most friendly and helpful hostesses. Carolyn, Sufi and Monica get special mentions as they are so NICE!
