The hostel was quaint and had a very homey feel to it. The room and toilet were clean, staff friendly and helpful, and the room altogether comfortable. Good location on Hefang Street close to both a metro and bus station, providing easy access to the city. Biggest issue with the room was standing water on the bathroom floor and a... More

Room/cleanliness: We stayed in a double room situated in a small courtyard. It was one of the cleanest hotels we stayed in China. Staff: spoke good English and were very helpful. Internet: bad connection Location: very close to Hefang Old Street. Lots of eateries and souvenir stands all over. ~1,5 km from the main train station. Other: - Credit cards... More

Stayed here for 3 nights in a private double room. The place was very tricky to find, and the directions provided were rather poor and vague. Despite that, the hostel is located in a brilliant, central area surrounded by shops and night markets with plenty going on and not too far from the metro. The room and bathroom were clean... More

The front desk staff were very helpful with advice and assistance, buying train tickets for instance. We liked our room off the little courtyard. It was a good size with a comfortable bed and great wifi. The two adjoining restaurants, one a casual coffeeshop style and the other a more trendy Chinese style both offer a 20% discount to guests.... More

Amazing location, really nice staff and a lovely cafe on site. The place actually feels more like a hotel than a hostel. However the rooms are small and dark and you may be unfortunate enough to be located in the loft of a room which has a damp musky smell.

Nice hostel with good beds and very clean bathrooms! We had a double room, which is as a little small (especially with 2 backpacks and 2 daypacks), but the bed was good, and the shower/toilet very clean. The staff is friendly, and speaks English. Also, the restaurant bed door has a good vibe and a lot of coffees and stuff.... More

The hostel is near Wushan Square, Qinghefang Old Street, and a night market. It's great for souvenir shopping and snacks, but the taxi driver had to call for directions. The 8-person dorm had a big locker, a comfortable bed, and a small but clean en suite bathroom. Rooms open onto the courtyard, so you can hear other guests in their... More

Stayed in 8-bed mixed dorm, but didn't feel crowded or small because it was split into two floors. Rooms have lockers and nice private bathrooms. Best part was the location - really easy to get to from the train station, a 10-minute walk from West Lake, and right next to Old Hefang Street (but in a quieter nearby alley). Staff... More

The location of the hostel was really perfect for exploring Hangzhou. The room did feel a little small but the facilities made up for it. The common area and the cafe were both really nice. The staff were helpful.

“We stayed at Duplex Double room. The room has stairs to go up to the bed. Stair steps are very small and the stair itself are built narrow up. It is not suitable for old people and small kids, so if you are travelling with your parents or kids, get extra bed (sleep downstairs near the bathroom) or get other room.”
