I stayed here for 3 nights over the annual Sapporo Snow Festival. I was travelling alone, and stayed in a female only room. I could not have asked for anything more!
My room had a great view of the city, was exceptionally clean, and the foot massage machine was definitely a bonus. There was a large variety of breads (continental) for breakfast, and killer coffee. I was very pleasantly surprised. Guests are also welcomed to help yourself to coffee, teas, and juice from the restaurant (even when it is not open)
It was only about a 5 minute walk to the nearest subway station.
Although very limited with their English, the staff were professional and friendly and even called my next hotel for me to request a late check-in.

I’ve just finished a night at the Business Inn Norte at Nakajima-koen in Sapporo. The hotel is just east of mid-section of Nakajima park and just west of Toyohira-gawa dori. I chose this hotel for a night in town and for its very low price. I’m pleasantly surprised. Check-in was a bit tense because they asked me first if I am a resident of Japan (I am) and then for my foreign registration card (which by law is not required). I refused and they dropped the subject. I paid, got my card key and room number (It’s on your receipt.) and headed upstairs. My room is small, but really not bad for the bargain off-season price I paid. It’s quiet, the bed is small but comfortable and the bathroom is typical of Japanese business hotels. The location of the hotel is just a short walk to the south edge of Susukino, and a few stops on the subway to Odori and Sapporo Station. For solo travelers, it suits one’s needs well. Apart from the small hiccup at checkin, this hotel is fine for a night. And check-out this morning was a breeze. Drop my card key in the box and go. I’d be happy to stay here again when I have the opportunity.

In the wake of the Sapporo snow festival, I chose to head out to be part of the experience and also be part of the winter celebrations. Chose this hotel as it is well located in Sapporo close by Susukino the center. The bed size was fine and got a beautiful window view from the 6th floor

We wanted somewhere cheap & cheerful to stay after a night out in Sapporo. For Japanese standards, the hotel was fairly cheap - about 6,000 yen for a double room for 2 people. The staff were friendly and polite but hey, it's Japan...of course they're going to be polite. I know that for a budget hotel like this, speaking English shouldn't really be a prerequisite but come on, - it's still a hotel, after all! A little more English spoken by staff would certainly be useful! The hotel decor consisted mainly of pink plastic panelling and the bathrooms were moulded out of what seemed to be entire sheets of pink plastic. Classy.
We had a non-smoking room but it was still stuffy and smokey when we first entered. The absolute worst part of the hotel was the air quality while sleeping. Please don't get me wrong, I'm no princess and I have never in my life been aware of a need for moisture/humidity in the air but this night certainly made me take notice! There was a humidifier featured quite prominently in the reception and another in our hallway and I guess this should have been a sign that the hotel had a major problem with bone-dry air! Our room of course didn't have a humidifier. I woke up about 6 times throughout the night feeling like I was asphyxiating. My throat and mouth have never felt so dry and I think I must have drunk five glasses of water. It was about minus 10 degrees outside but the room was not only dry but stinking hot and we couldn't change the settings on the archaic air conditioning system. Finally, we managed to open the window and despite the freezing cold outside, we found some respite from the unbearable conditions in the room. I am honestly not exaggerating how bad our night was at this hotel. I'm really not a sensitive sleeper and have slept in places like thin-aired La Paz, Bolivia and have never had any such breathing issues. I'm a young, healthy person and do not have any existing respiratory issues but since staying at this hotel four nights ago, I still have an irritated throat and don't feel quite 'right'.
Oh, let's not forget the 'breakfast'. It consisted of 5 different kinds of baked goods. That was it. Disappointed is an understatement! Maybe it was a blessing in disguise because it enabled us to get out of this hotel faster! Pay a few thousand yen more and just stay in the Lifort Hotel next door. Honestly. You won't regret it!

it is hard to find affordable hotel during sapporo ice festival because of high demand. how i find this hotel is almost magical. it is affordable, walkable from the station, and just in front of park with beautiful view when covered in snow.

susukino site ice festival only 5 minutes on foot from business in norte.

overall, this hotel has a great location with affordable price with just minor issue like staff dont speaks good english, and breakfast just bread and sausage. but i still loves this place

average cheap hotel, near sapporro park and nakajima park - which is huge and beautiful, but hotel also next to highway, though accomm rooms seem to be on park/ town side away from highway. (hwy side is a love hotel it seems). small rooms, small bathrooms, cheap breakfast included but not really worth it - unless you really need something in your stomach in a hurry, otherwise skip it, typical western bread n coffee kind of thing, minimal options. hotel a shortish walk from subway.. ten mins.

Hotel was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious as well. Staffs were helpful and kind, obviously.
But facility was quite old and located not so much close to station.
Whatever it was good choice for me.

Love our stay during Sapporo snow festival. We booked this hotel at least 9 mths before the snow festival and managed to get a good price.

The Location is not bad , 5 mins walk from Subway and it's near to the beautiful Nakajima Park as well.

The bed and pillow is very comfy . Room size consider quite big for an budget hotel in Japan. Free simple buffet breakfast available too :)

The only downside is the room actually abit warm even during the winter, hence we gonna open the window slightly to let the winter breeze to let the room cooler. Because we opened the window, cars passing by sounds can be heard in the room.

The room was clean and there were two twin beds in it. At about 80 per nite, it was reasonable. We anticipated using our credit card to pay. Because we had fiund such a low rate, the hotel said we needed to pay cash. This was a bit disturbing since we were counting on using out card.
Aside from this, the hotel employes were friendly and helpful. The location was good for us

We stayed here for 1 night in July. We had a triple room for 3 adults and a child. The room was just enough for 4 people, but we didn't expect bigger for 9.000yen, including breakfast. The breakfast was ok, got some croissant and rolls incluing butter and tea. They also served coffee and some juices. This hotel is a 10min walk to the main (nightlife) area (Susukino) where we had ramen at night. The hotel is a budget one, clean with free Internet in the rooms, but don't expect more for 9.000yen. Anyway, not bad for 1 night in Sapporo.
