My room had a great view of the city, was exceptionally clean, and the foot massage machine was definitely a bonus. There was a large variety of breads (continental) for breakfast, and killer coffee. I was very pleasantly surprised. Guests are also welcomed to help yourself to coffee, teas, and juice from the restaurant (even when it is not open)
It was only about a 5 minute walk to the nearest subway station.
Although very limited with their English, the staff were professional and friendly and even called my next hotel for me to request a late check-in.
We had a non-smoking room but it was still stuffy and smokey when we first entered. The absolute worst part of the hotel was the air quality while sleeping. Please don't get me wrong, I'm no princess and I have never in my life been aware of a need for moisture/humidity in the air but this night certainly made me take notice! There was a humidifier featured quite prominently in the reception and another in our hallway and I guess this should have been a sign that the hotel had a major problem with bone-dry air! Our room of course didn't have a humidifier. I woke up about 6 times throughout the night feeling like I was asphyxiating. My throat and mouth have never felt so dry and I think I must have drunk five glasses of water. It was about minus 10 degrees outside but the room was not only dry but stinking hot and we couldn't change the settings on the archaic air conditioning system. Finally, we managed to open the window and despite the freezing cold outside, we found some respite from the unbearable conditions in the room. I am honestly not exaggerating how bad our night was at this hotel. I'm really not a sensitive sleeper and have slept in places like thin-aired La Paz, Bolivia and have never had any such breathing issues. I'm a young, healthy person and do not have any existing respiratory issues but since staying at this hotel four nights ago, I still have an irritated throat and don't feel quite 'right'.
Oh, let's not forget the 'breakfast'. It consisted of 5 different kinds of baked goods. That was it. Disappointed is an understatement! Maybe it was a blessing in disguise because it enabled us to get out of this hotel faster! Pay a few thousand yen more and just stay in the Lifort Hotel next door. Honestly. You won't regret it!
susukino site ice festival only 5 minutes on foot from business in norte.
overall, this hotel has a great location with affordable price with just minor issue like staff dont speaks good english, and breakfast just bread and sausage. but i still loves this place
But facility was quite old and located not so much close to station.
Whatever it was good choice for me.
The Location is not bad , 5 mins walk from Subway and it's near to the beautiful Nakajima Park as well.
The bed and pillow is very comfy . Room size consider quite big for an budget hotel in Japan. Free simple buffet breakfast available too :)
The only downside is the room actually abit warm even during the winter, hence we gonna open the window slightly to let the winter breeze to let the room cooler. Because we opened the window, cars passing by sounds can be heard in the room.
Aside from this, the hotel employes were friendly and helpful. The location was good for us
