I had a twin room (western style) which was large by Japanese standards. It could do with some modernisation as the veneer was peeling on some of the furniture. The buffet dinner was acceptable with a reasonable selection to choose from. The breakfast was also reasonable with thick bacon for a change. No Wi-Fi or LAN in the room which...

Came here for a staff spring outing! Though I'm not a big fan for hot spring, this place is great for team bounding time :) We all stayed in washitsu (Japanese-style room), so it was nice to be able to chill in one of the rooms with many people at a time - drank beer and played cards. The town...

This may just be my view but I felt that this hotel was tired and could do with a refurbishment, the carpets looked dirty, the rooms were in need of a make over and there was a strange smell in the public baths changing rooms which I have never experienced before. Additionally WiFi is only available in the lobby, which...

I stayed at 2 different hot spring hotel but I enjoy the 24 hour at Jozankei Manseikaku Hotel Milione. Why ? So you can go when it is not crowd and enjoy privacy. The hot spring offers a shower right next door so people take a soapy shower before entering. The hot spring easy accessible from the same building so...

The onsen comparatively speaking with other hotels I've stayed before is not as good cause it feels like all pools are the same temperature and the cold water pool isn't cold enough. The hotel otherwise is not bad at all. I highly recommend to go down to the restaurant after onsen. It opens till late at night and the prices...

Joined a tour group so can't comment on the price. We liked this hotel because of its wide variety of japanese and western food and desserts at the buffet dinner and breakfast. Our favorites were the tender roast beef and fresh sashimi for dinner. The restaurant staff were also friendly and polite. We had Japanese style room which was spacious...

We stayed one night at this hotel and opted for half board (ie. dinner and breakfast). Dinner was quite good, in that there is a wide selection of food, and food tastes above average. We did not have too great an experience dining though, because the restaurant was extremely crowded during both dinner and breakfast. I think our main gripe...

The hotel has the widest buffet breakfast selection out of the four hotels we stayed in Hokkaido. We also had buffet dinner at the hotel and the spread is equally satisfying. I would go there again just for the buffet breakfast and dinner. We were there at the same time a high school from Osaka held some ceremonies so again,...

Stayed at this hotel in November 2012. Very little english spoken but it was really no great problem, they were very polite and helpful. Had pre-booked from Australia so just had to show voucher. Really great Onsen. Huge area (in female section, cant speak for the male side), with quite a few different types of baths. Also great yukata's (bathrobes)...

Despite inability to speak English, all the hotel staff are very polite and helpful. One Chinese staff even taught us how to wear the yukata. The view over the roaring Toyohiiro River was magnificent. Dinner was excellent with the spread & freshness. There're so many pools to choose in the onsen. We enjoyed much.
