Spacious rooms, basic but comfortable. Dated deco and furniture, and bathrooms in need of renovation -- we had plumbing problems and strong smell of sewage during the night. One of the rooms reeked of cigarette smoke, despite it being a non-smoking hotel/hostel. Overall, decent location, close to the Peace Memorial Museum, but not sure I would recommend it unless budget...

If you are coming to Hiroshima you cannot get better accommodation at such a high standard than here. The reception staff speak English and cannot do enough for you. The rooms are fully equipped, ensuite bathrooms, spotlessly clean, and we had lovely views from the 8th floor. There is a restaurant, you can buy stamps and post letters all in...

Strayed here as part of a larger group. Definitely not a hostel as the name implies.....more of a business hotel. Staff are very friendly and the wifi in rooms was great! Some food options around but not a wide range. Close to a number of main attractions and good value for the dollar.

Don't be fooled by the fact that this is called a hostel; it's a proper hotel with all the usual amenities. The rooms are very large (for Japan), so much so that I felt I was rattling around in mine. My bed was comfortable, and everything was clean. The hotel is very close to the Peace Park, and maybe a...

The hotel was cheap, clean, all toiletires provided, air con, TV and a fridge. Very close to the Atomic Peace Park and so easy to get to on the loop bus from the train station. Helpful staff, who spoke good English. One note: Since the hotel is located in a commercial building, the doors are closed after 10pm and so...

This hotel (hostel) was one of the best on our 10 day trip to Japan. Is was very clean, centrally located, walking distance to the Hiroshima Peace museum and park, and a great price. We would definitely stay here again!

Stayed here for 3 nights for a 2 day visit of Hiroshima and a day trip to Miyajima. This is an exceptional property: clean, pretty roomy, great WIFI, on site coin laundry facility, helpful staff, 7 mins walk to nearest tram station, 10 mins walk to Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park, and 20 mins walk to shopping street. Convenient stores and...

It's a well-run hostel-efficient, clean, quiet and well located on the river near the Peace Memorials. My private room with ensuite bath was very thoughtfully supplied with an extension cord, electric kettle, tea, bed and desk lamp, desk and chair. I had a fine view of the city and surrounding hills. I didn't use the restaurant on the second floor...

Basic, clean and very adequate hotel. Don't let "youth house " turn you off. Many adults were staying here. No noise. Well maintained. You may choose Japanese style (tatami/futons) or western. Prices very good. Very well located. Walk to Peace Museum/Park. Also to pier to board ferry to Merijima island. 7/11 across street offers many things travelers need. Highly recommend.

Hotel easy is to get to. Go out south exit and get the number 24 bus from platform 3. 15 minute bus ride and it drops you about a few minutes walk from the hotel. The hotel is on the top two floors of what seems to be a community/city centre. They were holding some kind of dance competition as...

“We asked for a nice room and got a double aspect panoramic view of the city. Only the twin was available (916) but beds were comfortable. If its chilly weather the temp is a little cool but blankets are very warm.”

“I think the rooms on the top floor [think 9th] are more hotel style than hostel, so make sure you ask for these. I also double checked that we were having a non smoking room and we did.”
