Echoing what many others have said this is a brilliant place to stay. It is a traditional small 2 storey house with two living rooms downstairs and two bedrooms upstairs (separated by a small hallway). The small bathroom (no shower, Japanese bath) and separate loo...More

This was the most unique stay of our 6 week stay. This traditional house is full of character and makes the perfect kyoto experience. The great tea house ippodo is right around the corner. Keiko is a wonderful host, thank you. Highly recommended!
