    The hotel is old and so it does look old and dated on the outside but the lobby was fancy and modern since the whole hotel was recently remodeled. Since it was remodeled the room has quite new furniture so it was still good but...More

    It's a huge hotel and lovely, but also very popular so almost permanently full. Why not try one that is even closer to the Kyoto station at Ibis Style. It is not as fancy, but clean and comfortable.

    While from Kyoto station, you can walk to the hotel. It's only 2 minute away from the station. At the train station you will see the bus station. You have to rode the bus in order to visit the temples. ^^ you must have a lot... More

    Im sorry for the delayed answer. yes, there are. I was very amazed by the high quality of the hotel, especially compared to the one we stayed in Tokyo which was very basic next to this one.
