Stayed here for more than a week whilst covering not only Osaka but Nara & Kyoto as well. Great location with 2 giant supermarkets located within walking distance. Counter staff is ever friendly and helpful.
The hotel's best points are it's location. Fairly close to Umeda and Dotonbori with train and subway stations just few minute walk away. There few good restaurants nearby too. Hotel is in rather quiet area, away from bigger roads.

I can answer part of your question -- towels are provided. But I don't know about soap, etc., as I didn't personally stay here, but my out-of-town guests did. If you need to buy toiletries such as soap, there is a 24-hour grocery just two blocks away, and convenience stores are everywhere in Japan!
