Coming from JR Harukas, kind of worry there is no escalator or lift which can bring us to Exit 12
Quoted from their Website , what it means "there is a stairway"
"From JR / subway
· If you left JR Central Ticket Gate and you proceed to the left hand side there is a stairway leading to the underpass.
Please get off the stairs there and proceed straight to the right hand side, you can see the signboard of 12th exit.

There shouldn't be any problem. It is possible to go to the hotel without having to carry anything. The elevator to the hotel goes straight from the subway level.
